I have TWO cards to share with you today! One of these is a card we made at my last card class, and the other was a card with basically the same layout that I created for a friend who needed a baby shower card. Both cards feature the So Very Vellum paper that you can get for free during Sale-a-bration, plus the Under My Umbrella stamp set. My intention was to create a third card using the Soft Sea Foam vellum, but I just haven't found the time this week. Being quarantined to your house is supposed to give you more time, right? Well, I'm not finding that true at my house. Here are the two cards side by side.
Here's a tip: if you find a layout you like for a card, use it on several cards and just change some of the elements! This was the first card I created for my card class.
I used the Pleased as Punch paper for the umbrella on this one, and the Woven Threads Sequins for a little embellishment.
Right around the time of my card class, a friend asked if I could make her a card for a baby shower she was invited to. Of course I said yes, and I used the same layout to make creating easy. I still used the Pleased as Punch paper for the umbrella, but this time I stamped and colored flowers with my Stampin' Blends Markers, and then fussy cut them and added them to the umbrella. I added a few Silver Glimmer hearts cut with the Be Mine Stitched Dies to go along with the sentiment, 'Showered with Love'.
Which card do you like better? I'm partial to the purple one, because it's my favorite color!
I hope you are getting more crafting time than me these days. If you are looking for more crafty supplies, check out the BOGO Sale I'm hosting in my Facebook group, now through March 31. I'm offering extra freebies the more you spend, PLUS you'll earn Sale-a-bration rewards too! Here's a list of supplies I used on today's cards:

It's hard to believe, but there is just one week left of Sale-a-bration. That kind of snuck up on me with everything that's been going on in the past few weeks. Are you doing ok? I have been trying to check in with friends and family more frequently, because I know that this pandemic has caused me to have some stressful and worry-filled days. But today was a good day, and I hope it gives me momentum to keep on going because tomorrow we start home-schooling for at least a few weeks, and I'm going to need some extra momentum!
Today's card uses the Well Dressed stamp set, which you can get for free during Sale-a-bration when you place a $50 order. This is a masculine set, although I have seen some great feminine samples too! It does not include any sentiments, so your options are endless - you can pair it with any sentiment you like.
The color combination includes Crumb Cake, Blueberry Bushel, and Call Me Clover. These colors go great together! Blueberry Bushel and Call Me Clover will be retiring with this catalog, so make sure to add them to your cart if you don't already have them. Blueberry Bushel is one of my favorites, and I have been using it a lot recently!
Here is a full list of supplies: Stamps: Well Dressed, Perennial Birthday Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Crumb Cake Paper: Blueberry Bushel, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, 2018-2020 In Color 6 x 6" DSP Embellishments: Braided Burlap Trim Tools: Stitched Shapes Dies Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals
I have such a fun card to share with you today! This card was one I did for a swap way back in January, but I haven't had the chance to share it here yet.
I used colors from the Brights family to create my rainbow, and there are several fun little details - the little row of bugs is stamped in Versamark for a subtle background, and I went over the ladybug with Wink of Stella for some extra sparkle!
We made this card at my card class in January as well, and everyone loved it! Remember, you can earn this stamp set for free by hosting a qualifying party this month, or when you place a $300 order in my online store. Don't wait - there's only a few weeks left!
Stamps: Little Ladybug Ink: Memento Black, Stampin' Blends Markers: Dark Poppy Parade, Versamark Paper: Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Gorgeous Grape Embellishments: Glitter Enamel Dots, Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon Tools: Stitched Shapes Dies, Wink of Stella Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
Today's card features the Little Ladybug stamp set. You can only get this one for a few more weeks during Sale-a-bration, either by hosting a qualifying party or by placing a $300 order yourself. It's worth it, in my opinion. This stamp set is large, and SO cute!
You can also purchase the coordinating Ladybugs Dies, which cut out quite a few of the stamped images. Don't you love it when you don't have to fussy cut?!
If you'd like to see how I put this card together, you can see a video here:
Stamps: Little Ladybug Ink: Memento Black, Stampin' Blends: Light & Dark Daffodil Delight, Light & Dark Granny Apple Green, Light Rococo Rose, Light Smoky Slate, Ivory Paper: Balmy Blue, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Pleased as Punch DSP Embellishments: White Baker's Twine, Gingham Gala Sequins Tools: Ladybugs Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Rectangle Stitched Dies Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals
I used the sketch challenge at Global Design Project as the inspiration for today's card.
This pattern of paper in the Flowering Foils paper pack is perfect for using your sponge brayers. I picked Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape, two of my favorite colors, as the palette for this card.
The sentiment comes from the So Sentimental stamp set, and the card is finished off with a few Gorgeous Grape Rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
Make sure you get this paper soon! It's only available while supplies last, and it's so beautiful that I don't think it will last for long!
Stamps: So Sentimental Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana Paper: Whisper White, Gorgeous Grape, Flowering Foils DSP Embellishments: Noble Peacock Rhinestones, White Baker's Twine Tools: So Sweetly Stitched Dies, Sponge Brayers Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
I have two cards to share with you today! I used the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper along with sponge daubers to create these beautiful cards. Here is the first one - for this one I used the paper as a background piece.
I colored the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with the Light Night of Navy Stampin' Blends Marker - it was a pretty close match to the Blueberry Bushel!
For the second card, I fussy cut the flowers out of the paper. This takes a little bit longer, but isn't too hard when you're using Paper Snips.
I've used the Sending You Thoughts stamp set on both cards. This stamp set and the Flowering Foils paper are both free choices when you spend $50 during Sale-a-bration!
Which card do you like better? I love the Blueberry Bushel, but I think lots of colors would look great on these flowers!
If you'd like to see how I put these cards together, you can watch the video here:
Stamps: Sending You Thoughts Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Pear Pizzazz, Stampin' Blends: Light Night of Navy Paper: Blueberry Bushel, Whisper White, Flowering Foils DSP Embellishments: Noble Peacock Rhinestones, Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon Tools: Sponge Daubers, Story Label Punch, Scripty EF Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
Today's card was inspired by the challenge at Global Design Project, and a color challenge issued by my upline. I loved both, so I combined them in this beautiful card!
I drew several elements from Charlet's card - the Scripty embossing folder is used on a piece of vellum, backed by Whisper White cardstock. I arranged my lilies on the left side of the card, and used a 'thanks' sentiment from the Seriously the Best stamp set.
What is your favorite element on this card? I used so many of my favorites! Comment and let me know. Stamps: Seriously the Best, Lovely Lily Pad Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Pear Pizzazz Paper: Sahara Sand, Gorgeous Grape, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Vellum, Sparkle Glimmer Paper Embellishments: White Baker's Twine, Woven Threads Sequins Tools: Scripty EF, Lily Pad Dies Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Glue
I am definitely a last minute crafter most days. How about you? Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, I spent the afternoon working on some of mine. January's Paper Pumpkin kit, I'll Bee Yours, was the perfect starting point!
This is the intended use for the kit - and I didn't even put them all together! I added some Ghiradelli chocolate hearts for the teachers at my kids' school. Yum!
Then I moved on to the kids' treats. We found inexpensive heart lollipops, and I used the stamps in the kit, along with a bee cut from the Golden Honey Specialty paper, the Heart Punch Pack, and the Gingham Gala Sequins.
I did four different color designs, and I love how they turned out! I don't think the kids in Kindergarten and 2nd grade are going to appreciate them as much as I do. Ha! But I enjoyed making them, and that's what counts, right?
Here's a full supply list: Stamps: I'll Bee Yours Ink: Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo Paper: Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, Golden Honey Specialty DSP Embellishments: Gingham Gala Sequins Tools: Heart Punch Pack, Detailed Bee Dies Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
