Cow's it Going?

The Over the Moon stamp set was on the top of my list when this new catalog came out. The sentiments are full of funny puns, and those cows are so cute! Today's project was CASEd from Erica Cerwin. She does so many great 3D projects, but I am more of a card person, so I just turned her idea into a card! Here's her project:

And here's mine:

We made this card at my card class on Saturday, and I think everyone loved it. Who wouldn't smile if they received this card in the mail, right? And... guess where those cow spots came from? The Love What You Do stamp set has two watercolor "blobs" that make perfect cow spots!

Stay tuned for more cows, later this week!

#tgifc221: Christmas in July

Confession time: I really didn't have the time today to create this card, but I did it anyways. The challenge over at TGIF Challenges this week is Christmas in July, and since the current product I have for Christmas is limited, I came up with the idea to use my Pigment Sprinkles. I have been wanting to try these, and they did not disappoint!

I also used the new Watercolor Paper, and it is AWESOME! It's nice and smooth, and dried flat. What?! The colors of the Pigment Sprinkles are so vibrant, and I love that they completely match the Stampin' Up! colors. I embossed first, then added water with the Aquapainter. I sprinkled on some of the Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green Pigment Sprinkles, then blended with the Aquapainter. Easy peasy!

Here's a close up of the details:

Now I better get back to what I'm supposed to be doing today - cleaning and prepping for my card class this Saturday. Stay tuned for more of the Pigment Sprinkles - I'll definitely be using them again!

Stamps: Making Christmas Bright
Paper: Whisper White, Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Sparkle Glimmer Paper
Embellishments: Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots, Rhinestones
Tools: Versamark, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Pigment Sprinkles, Aquapainter
Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals

Beautiful Friendship Congratulations

Today's card features the Beautiful Friendship stamp set. It didn't take very long for this stamp set to catch my eye! I love the watercolor-like florals, and the sentiments - both what they say, and the pretty fonts. For this card, I used Seaside Spray to create a hydrangea (or at least that's what it looks like to me). I am no flower expert, so maybe that's not what it's intended to be, but I like it!

I thought the wood pattern in the Pressed Petals DSP was a perfect fit. This is probably my favorite sheet of DSP in the whole catalog. I might have cried a little as I was chopping it all up to use for card class this weekend. (Just kidding, but I can't be the only one who hoards their favorite paper!)

If you love this card as much as I do, you might be interested in the ordering special I have going on this week. From now through Friday, place an order of more than $50 using host code DZZM9G49 in my online store, and I'll send you this card, plus the 3 others pictured below.

If you're local to me, these are the cards we'll be making at my card class this Saturday. You can see all of the event details here. I have a few spots left that I would love to fill!

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship
Ink: Seaside Spray, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede
Paper: Whisper White, Seaside Spray, Pressed Petals DSP
Embellishments: Linen Thread
Tools: Rectangle Stitched Dies, Die Cutting Machine
Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Extra, Extra!

Today's post is all about the starter kit. Now before you stop reading and click away, know that I am only sharing this information with you because I have gotten so much out of being a part of Stampin' Up!, and I truly wouldn't want you to miss out if you love the products half as much as I do!

What do you get when you purchase the starter kit?
The starter kit costs $99. Right now, you get to pick out $155 of whatever you would like - that's $56 free! There is also free shipping on the starter kit, which saves you another $10. In the kit, you'll also get a package of business supplies valued at over $50. And wait, there's more! New demonstrators receive a recent Paper Pumpkin kit in their box too! If you were already planning to order around $100, why wouldn't you purchase the starter kit instead and pick out more for your money? Keep reading to find out what else you'll get...

Once you purchase the starter kit, you get a 20% discount on your purchases. Do you belong to a membership store like Sam's Club or Costco? This is kind of like that. You pay your "membership fee" and then get to purchase the products at a discounted price. Your discount can get even higher if you want to work the business a little, or if you make a large number of purchases yourself.

Do you love the products that Stampin' Up! offers? Do you get excited to see what's new? Another perk of being a demonstrator is early access to new catalogs. In fact, in just a few days demonstrators will get to see the upcoming Holiday Catalog. Then, in August, we'll get to order from it while customers have to wait until September. This perk is probably my favorite one!

Another thing I have really enjoyed about being a demonstrator is access to an exclusive demonstrator Facebook group. You would not believe all of the projects that are shared there daily! You also get a quarterly magazine, Stampin' Success, filled with ideas and business tips.

Did I mention the friendships? It's so much fun to stamp and collaborate with a bunch of other people who love Stampin' Up! as much as I do. Let's face it, my husband just doesn't care too much about the cute cow stamp set or the newest set of stitched framelits. But my stamping friends do!

If you are at all interested in the starter kit, I would love to chat with you! Talking about stamping is one of my favorite things to do! I would be happy to send you more information and answer any questions that you have. You can contact me here. If I've already convinced you, you can purchase a starter kit here.

I could not imagine my life without Stampin' Up! Being creative and in charge of my own business brings me joy and fulfillment like nothing else does. Maybe it could do the same for you!

Happy Stamping!

Christmas in July Class to Go

I have a beautiful card class to offer you this month! When I first saw the Noble Peacock Specialty paper in the catalog, I knew it would make gorgeous Christmas cards. So I created this Christmas in July class for you using that paper and the Making Christmas Bright stamp set. The cards are pretty simple, outside of a little heat embossing.

There are several options to purchase; you can also add on any of the additional needed supplies at catalog cost (I will pay your tax and shipping).
Option #1 ($30) includes a 1/2 package of Noble Peacock Specialty paper (cut to fit in your package), a bolt of Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, a pack of Noble Peacock Rhinestones, and the supplies to make 6 cards.
Option #2 ($76) includes everything in Option #1, plus the Making Christmas Bright stamp set and the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch.
Option #3 ($15) This option includes the tutorial only.
Option #4 ($7) This option is for my team and includes only the cardstock supplies.
To make the cards as shown, you'll need these additional supplies:

*Heat Tool ($30.00)

You're Rawrsome!

Today's card features products from the Dinoroar Suite. This is my favorite suite of products in the new catalog! I suppose part of that is that I have young children, and quite a few nieces and nephews, but even if I didn't, I think I would still like it. The dinosaurs are so cute, and who can resist the cute sayings like "You're Rawrsome!"

This card was created as part of a challenge in my business training group, and I won! I was really excited, because this card was really fun to make, and I love how it turned out. I have many more ideas for these products, so you'll be seeing these little dinosaurs again. Here's a close up of all those details - of course I had to use the Woven Threads Sequins again!

Stamps: Dino Days
Ink: Seaside Spray, Calypso Coral
Paper: Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Pacific Point, 2019-2021 In Color 6 x 6" DSP
Embellishments: Woven Threads Sequins
Tools: Starburst Punch, Stitched Shapes Dies, Dino Dies, Die Cutting Machine, Versamark, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool
