No Line Watercoloring with Country Home

Have you seen this technique yet? No line watercoloring is a new technique to me, but I had to try it after seeing some beautiful projects that were made using it. If you're curious about how it works, you can watch my Facebook Live from today. Basically, you stamp an image in a very light color - I used Sahara Sand stamped off once. Then you watercolor using an Aqua Painter and your ink pads. Here's the result:

It's a different look, but very artistic, I think. I'll be sharing a card later this week that I used Stampin' Blends to color, and the two looks are completely different! Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Stamps: Country Home
Ink: Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss
Paper: Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Shimmery White, Wood Textures DSP
Accessories & Tools: Aqua Painter, Galvanized Buttons, Braided Linen Trim, Versamark, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool

#TGIFC180: Snowflake Showcase Sneak Peek

Oh my, do I have a treat for you today! I literally got these products on my doorstep this afternoon, and I couldn't wait to use them! TGIF Challenges Color Challenge this week was the perfect inspiration, along with a sample from Stampin' Up! that I CASE'd. Here is the fun color combo:

And here is my card. I copied it from a sample that Stampin' Up! posted, just changing the colors, switching out sequins for rhinestones, and using my thinlits instead of a sewing machine for the stitched line on the bottom.

The stamped images come from the Happiness Surrounds stamp set, and the die-cuts are from the Snowfall Thinlits Dies. These products, along with the Snow is Glistening stamp set, Snowflake Trinkets, and White Velvet Paper, will be available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST in November.

If you want to make sure you get them, you can purchase them as part of your starter kit this month. They are all truly beautiful!

Stamps: Happiness Surrounds
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody, Whisper White
Accessories & Tools: Snowfall Thinlits, Stitched Labels Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Big Shot, Basic Black Baker's Twine, Rhinestones

A Maui-Inspired Card

A new month, and a new Stampin' Up! year. Today marks the beginning of the earning period for the 2020 Incentive Trip to Maui. I have a LONG way to go to earn this trip, but I plan to work hard! The last time I was in Maui was on my honeymoon, and I have wanted to go back to Hawaii ever since. So I thought to kick it off, I would share a card inspired by Hawaii, using the Tropical Escape paper stack.

I am also hoping to jumpstart my sales this year with a fun challenge! Stampin' Up! is offering a selection of products at 10% off this week to celebrate World Card-Making Day. My favorite thing on the list - kits! Three of the four kits that are on sale are all-inclusive kits, which means you don’t need anything extra to put them together. I have set a huge goal to sell 20 kits this week. To sweeten the deal for you – if I get to 20 kits, I will gift a bonus kit to someone who purchased one this week! Each kit you purchase gives you one entry, and if you win, you get to choose which one you want for free! Woohoo! Here’s what you need to do: add a kit to your shopping cart, along with any other items you’d like, and make sure to use host code VVBWWX6W. Only those who use the host code will be entered to win a free kit. If you’d like, I can place your order for you, just let me know. I will be sharing updates and fun stuff all about kits this week in my Facebook group and on my page. If you haven't already liked and joined, make sure you do so you can join in the fun!

Here is a complete list of the sale items - you can get these on sale now through October 7. Shop in my online store or contact me to place your order.
