Crafting Forever!

Has living in "quarantine" been a roller coaster for you too? I've definitely had ups and downs, and yesterday was one of those really dragging, unmotivated days. At the very end of the day, I got a few minutes to craft, and it made me feel SO much better! This is one of the biggest reasons I love stamping. This is the card I created - I used some of my favorite retiring products.

This is quite possibly my favorite sentiment in the catalog, haha! Does it resonate with anyone else?

I used the Pigment Sprinkles for my background - they're on sale right now for just $16.10! Gorgeous Grape and Bermuda Bay are two of my favorite colors. I also added a few Noble Peacock Rhinestones, which come in five gorgeous colors. These are also on sale! And I had to finish the card off with White Baker's Twine. I will miss that the most because I use it ALL. THE. TIME. Good thing there are lots of new ribbons and twines to love!

Here is a full list of supplies. Make sure to shop soon, because many of these items are while supplies last!

Stamps: Crafting Forever
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Gorgeous Grape, Watercolor Paper
Embellishments: Noble Peacock Rhinestones, White Baker's Twine

Music From the Heart Stamp a Stack

Are any of you music-loving crafters like me? I have been playing the piano for 30 years, and the organ for 20, so I couldn't let the Music From the Heart stamp set retire without offering a class with it!

In this class to go, you'll make 16 cards - 4 each of 4 designs, all featuring the Music From the Heart stamp set. There are 3 options for ordering:

Option #1 - $56: This option includes the Music From the Heart stamp set, a 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, a roll of ribbon, a package of rhinestones, the cardstock and envelopes cut for your 16 cards, and a PDF tutorial with instructions for putting your cards together.
Option #2 - $36: This option includes everything in Option #1 EXCEPT for the stamp set.
Option #3 - $15: This option includes the tutorial ONLY.
Other supplies you will need for this class:
* Black, Basic Gray, Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, and Highland Heather ink pads
* Stampin' Blends Markers: Light & Dark Smoky Slate, Light & Dark Real Red, Light Crumb Cake, Dark Highland Heather, Dark Flirty Flamingo
* Adhesive - I recommend SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, and Mini Glue Dots
You may already have these supplies or others that you can substitute, or you can purchase them in my online store here.
The deadline to register for this class is May 26, or while supplies last. I expect the class kits to ship to you or be ready for pick up by June 1. You can register here.

I will email you at the address you provide within a day to send your invoice. Please watch for it. I will also use this email address to update you on when your class will ship and to send you your PDF tutorial.

Can I let you in on a little secret? If you're a part of my team, you get the tutorial for this class for free, along with all of my other tutorials! And this week, it's going to be so fun to be a part of my team and Stampin' Up! Not only is Stampin' Up! offering a fun online event for demonstrators, but my team has also put together a full day online training for this Saturday, including lots of stamping! Lots of the stamping presentations in both events will include brand new product, which is so fun - in fact, I was designing my projects last night, and I can't wait to share them with you. The other fun part of Saturday's event is that the demonstrator who helped design the Music From the Heart stamp set is going to be a guest presenter! I can't wait! It's not too late to be a part of these events - I know some of you have expressed interest in the starter kit, and now couldn't be a better time to purchase it. If you'd like to get in on these events, you can find more information on the starter kit and purchase one here.

Happy Stamping!

#GDP238: Ombre Card Collection

The sketch challenge this week at Global Design Project provided a lot of inspiration for me! So much inspiration that I created 4 cards using it - all the same but in different colors. I had to decide which one to use as my entry for the challenge, so I went to my Facebook followers and asked them to vote. It was pretty much a tie between two colors - do you want to see which one I chose?!

The blue/green combo was the winner, simply because I liked the placement of the rhinestones better. Purple is my favorite color, so that one was a close second!

And I created this card in two other colors too!

Leave a comment and let me know which color is your favorite. I've listed all of my supplies below. Each card was done with a watercolor wash using an Aqua Painter and 2-3 inks. I started at the bottom and worked my way up, so that the deeper color would fade into a lighter color. Don't you love the ombre look?

I think this photo is my favorite - the colors are so bright and vibrant! The sentiment comes from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set, and I had four of my very good friends in mind when I created these cards. Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I've inspired you to go and create something bold and beautiful!

Stamps: Strong & Beautiful
Ink: Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Stampin' Blends Markers: Dark Bermuda Bay, Dark Highland Heather, Dark Flirty Flamingo, Dark Daffodil Delight
Paper: Whisper White, Watercolor Paper, Bermuda Bay, Gorgeous Grape, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo
Embellishments: Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, Holiday Rhinestones, Noble Peacock Rhinestones
Tools: Stitched Labels Dies, Aqua Painter
Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals

#GDP230: I Can't Thank You Enough

I used the sketch challenge at Global Design Project as the inspiration for today's card.

This pattern of paper in the Flowering Foils paper pack is perfect for using your sponge brayers. I picked Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape, two of my favorite colors, as the palette for this card.

The sentiment comes from the So Sentimental stamp set, and the card is finished off with a few Gorgeous Grape Rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.

Make sure you get this paper soon! It's only available while supplies last, and it's so beautiful that I don't think it will last for long!

Stamps: So Sentimental
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana
Paper: Whisper White, Gorgeous Grape, Flowering Foils DSP
Embellishments: Noble Peacock Rhinestones, White Baker's Twine
Tools: So Sweetly Stitched Dies, Sponge Brayers

Flowering Foils in Blueberry Bushel: Two Ways

I have two cards to share with you today! I used the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper along with sponge daubers to create these beautiful cards. Here is the first one - for this one I used the paper as a background piece.

I colored the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with the Light Night of Navy Stampin' Blends Marker - it was a pretty close match to the Blueberry Bushel!

For the second card, I fussy cut the flowers out of the paper. This takes a little bit longer, but isn't too hard when you're using Paper Snips.

I've used the Sending You Thoughts stamp set on both cards. This stamp set and the Flowering Foils paper are both free choices when you spend $50 during Sale-a-bration!

Which card do you like better? I love the Blueberry Bushel, but I think lots of colors would look great on these flowers!

If you'd like to see how I put these cards together, you can watch the video here:

Stamps: Sending You Thoughts
