In Color Club - July

I have some fun cards to share with you today! These were the cards I sent to my In Color Club members this month. They feature the stamp set 'A Grand Kid', which I think is a great sentiment stamp set, even if you don't have kids or grandkids.

Check out the cards, and leave me a comment with your favorite color. I would love to know!
Bumblebee

Cinnamon Cider

Just Jade

Magenta Madness

Misty Moonlight

Magenta Madness was my favorite color at the beginning - in fact, I also made quite a few of the cards in that color for a card swap! But Misty Moonlight is beginning to take over as a new favorite lately. Come fall, I'm sure that will change again to Bumblebee or Cinnamon Cider. They're all great!

Here's a list of all the products I used on these cards:
Stamps: A Grand Kid
Paper: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, 2020-2022 In Color DSP
Embellishments: Rhinestones, 2020-2022 In Color Ribbon
Tools: Be Mine Stitched Dies, Tasteful Labels Dies, Pinewood Planks EF
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

Happy Stamping!

#keepstamping with Bloom and Grow

Stampin' Up! has been posting fun color challenges the last few weeks to help keep people stamping during this extra time at home. I finally made the time to participate in last week's challenge, and I used a stamp set that hasn't seen much ink yet in my craft room. Here is the color combination:

And here is my card:

I know Crumb Cake is not a traditional color for leaves (unless they're dead, right?), but I think it works here. It gives the card a little bit of a vintage feel. The stamped images come from the Bloom & Grow stamp set, which caught my eye when the catalog first came out. I've had the set for awhile, but haven't used it except for one of the sentiments, so it was time to ink it up! I love the florals, and I'll definitely be using it again!

As I was editing this close up, I noticed that I totally missed coloring one of the leaves! We're just going to chalk that up to quarantine brain (it's a new thing). Haha!

Stamps: Bloom & Grow
Ink: Early Espresso, Memento Black, Stampin' Blends Markers: Dark Pretty Peacock, Light & Dark Pool Party, Light Crumb Cake
Paper: Early Espresso, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Embellishments: Linen Thread, Woven Threads Sequins
Tools: Budding Blooms Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Pinewood Planks EF
Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Glue

Thinking of You with All My Heart

Today's card uses the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper. This patterned paper coordinates with FOUR punches - the Tulip Builder Punch, the Umbrella Builder Punch, the Heart Punch Pack, and the Small Bloom Punch! I used the heart pattern for my card.

If you'd like to see me make this card, check out the video:

#GDP213: Happy Christmas

Hello, and thanks for stopping by today! Can you believe it's November? I can't! Christmas is right around the corner, and the colors at Global Design Project this week were the perfect inspiration for a Christmas card.

I paired these colors with the Stitched Stars Dies and the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set (a host set).

The Noble Peacock Foil adds just the right amount of shine! I hope you enjoyed my card today. This post needs to be quick, because nap time is already over, and it will soon be time for school pick up. It feels like the craziness of the holiday season is already starting - anyone else?

Stamps: Greatest Part of Christmas
Ink: Lovely Lipstick
Paper: Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Lovely Lipstick, Noble Peacock Foil
Embellishments: Rhinestones, Silver Metallic Thread, Lovely Lipstick Grosgrain Ribbon
Tools: Stitched Stars Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, Pinewood Planks EF, Die Cutting Machine
Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

Birds of a Feather: Sending Love

I have a fun card to share with you today! This was one of the swap cards I made for a Holiday Catalog swap I was a part of.

That chicken will probably make its way onto a few more cards before the season is done! This time I used it with a Valentine's theme, as it is intended. The Be Mine Stitched Dies paired perfectly, and the Pinewood Planks embossing folder added a nice background piece.

I used my Stampin' Blends to color the chicken. So many ways to go, but I chose Cajun Craze this time. Here's a close up of the coloring:

Leave a comment and let me know what you think of this card. This stamp set is so much fun to color!

Stamps: Birds of a Feather
Ink: Memento Black, Real Red, Stampin' Blends: Light & Dark Cajun Craze, Dark Mango Melody, Dark Real Red, Ivory
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Mango Melody
Embellishments: White Baker's Twine
Tools: Pinewood Planks EF, Be Mine Stitched Dies, Die-Cutting Machine
Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Cow's it Going?

The Over the Moon stamp set was on the top of my list when this new catalog came out. The sentiments are full of funny puns, and those cows are so cute! Today's project was CASEd from Erica Cerwin. She does so many great 3D projects, but I am more of a card person, so I just turned her idea into a card! Here's her project:

And here's mine:

We made this card at my card class on Saturday, and I think everyone loved it. Who wouldn't smile if they received this card in the mail, right? And... guess where those cow spots came from? The Love What You Do stamp set has two watercolor "blobs" that make perfect cow spots!

Stay tuned for more cows, later this week!

Stamps: Over the Moon, Love What You Do
Ink: Memento Black; Stampin' Blends - Light Daffodil Delight, Light Old Olive, Light & Dark Flirty Flamingo, Dark Basic Black

It features some of my favorite new products - the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder, the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper, and the Pretty Label Punch. Here's the card pictured in the catalog...

Copying the catalog is an easy way to get beautiful cards every. single. time. Don't you just love the look of the embossing folder on Soft Sky cardstock? So pretty!
