January Card Club Sneak Peek

Hello! I hope you are all having a wonderful week! I've been doing a lot of designing this week, and I have another class to share with you today. This is a peek at the kit for my monthly card club this month:

If you are looking for a way to build up your stash of cards this year, this club is a great option for you! You'll make 8 general occasion cards every month - birthday, thank you, thinking of you, etc. The cost of the club is $35/month. This cost includes $20-22 of product (usually a half pack of paper, a ribbon, and an embellishment), the cost of tax and shipping, plus all of the cardstock cut and ready for you to assemble your cards. Envelopes are also included. I use one stamp set/bundle on all of the cards each month, and you have the option to add the one I use on at the catalog cost (I cover tax and shipping on that as a perk of belonging to the club). You provide your own inks and adhesives. Of course you can also use stamps that you already own to keep your cost down.

Want to sign up? You can do that here.
Make sure to subscribe by January 20 to get this month's kit!

Happy Stamping!

Have a Hoot Class

I have one more fun class to share with you today - the Have a Hoot Class! In this class delivered straight to your door, you'll make 3 cards, a gift card holder, and a mini pizza box treat holder.

There are 3 options for purchasing this class:

Option #1 ($95): This option includes the Have a Hoot Bundle (stamps & dies), a 1/2 package of the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper, a 1/2 package of Black Glitter Paper, a roll of Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, and a package of All the Trimmings Embellishments, plus the supplies and tutorials to make 5 projects - 3 cards, a mini pizza box, and a gift card holder.

Option #2 ($35): This option includes everything listed above except for the Have a Hoot Bundle. Choose this option if you already own the bundle or plan to substitute different stamps and dies.

Option #3 ($15): This option includes the tutorial only.

You will provide your own ink and adhesive. I recommend Memento Black and Poppy Parade inks, the following Stampin' Blends Markers: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Mango Melody, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Shaded Spruce, Melon Mambo, and Poppy Parade, and these adhesives: Stampin' Seal or Stampin' Seal +, Stampin' Dimensionals,  Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, and Mini Glue Dots. Any of these can be added onto your kit at catalog cost (I'll cover the tax & shipping). Of course you can substitute inks and coloring tools that you already own.
Please fill out this form to register for the class. Then watch your email for an invoice from me. The deadline to register is Wednesday, September 23. Invoices must be paid by September 24, and classes will ship no later than September 30. If you purchase the tutorial only option, I will send it to you within 24 hours after you pay your invoice.

You may have noticed I have quite a few class options this month. If you are having trouble keeping track of all of them, you can always view my calendar on my website. It is my goal to update it around the 1st of the month every month so you can see what's coming up! Just click on Events or scroll down to the bottom.

Music From the Heart Stamp a Stack

Are any of you music-loving crafters like me? I have been playing the piano for 30 years, and the organ for 20, so I couldn't let the Music From the Heart stamp set retire without offering a class with it!

In this class to go, you'll make 16 cards - 4 each of 4 designs, all featuring the Music From the Heart stamp set. There are 3 options for ordering:

Option #1 - $56: This option includes the Music From the Heart stamp set, a 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, a roll of ribbon, a package of rhinestones, the cardstock and envelopes cut for your 16 cards, and a PDF tutorial with instructions for putting your cards together.
Option #2 - $36: This option includes everything in Option #1 EXCEPT for the stamp set.
Option #3 - $15: This option includes the tutorial ONLY.
Other supplies you will need for this class:
* Black, Basic Gray, Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, and Highland Heather ink pads
* Stampin' Blends Markers: Light & Dark Smoky Slate, Light & Dark Real Red, Light Crumb Cake, Dark Highland Heather, Dark Flirty Flamingo
* Adhesive - I recommend SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, and Mini Glue Dots
You may already have these supplies or others that you can substitute, or you can purchase them in my online store here.
The deadline to register for this class is May 26, or while supplies last. I expect the class kits to ship to you or be ready for pick up by June 1. You can register here.

I will email you at the address you provide within a day to send your invoice. Please watch for it. I will also use this email address to update you on when your class will ship and to send you your PDF tutorial.

Can I let you in on a little secret? If you're a part of my team, you get the tutorial for this class for free, along with all of my other tutorials! And this week, it's going to be so fun to be a part of my team and Stampin' Up! Not only is Stampin' Up! offering a fun online event for demonstrators, but my team has also put together a full day online training for this Saturday, including lots of stamping! Lots of the stamping presentations in both events will include brand new product, which is so fun - in fact, I was designing my projects last night, and I can't wait to share them with you. The other fun part of Saturday's event is that the demonstrator who helped design the Music From the Heart stamp set is going to be a guest presenter! I can't wait! It's not too late to be a part of these events - I know some of you have expressed interest in the starter kit, and now couldn't be a better time to purchase it. If you'd like to get in on these events, you can find more information on the starter kit and purchase one here.

Monster Bash Halloween Card

I have a super cute Halloween card to share with you today! I am not big on Halloween, but I kind of love how this turned out!

I fussy cut the image from the Monster Bash DSP, and it is framed with a few Holiday Rhinestones. The bats and sentiment are from the To Every Season stamp set. And that background? Pigment Sprinkles of course! The card is finished off with some Black Glittery Organdy Ribbon.

Now to find someone to send this to... does anyone send Halloween cards? I never have, but wouldn't this card be a fun surprise in your mailbox?

Stamps: To Every Season
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: Basic Black, Watercolor Paper, Whisper White (inside), Monster Bash DSP
Embellishments: Black Glittery Organdy Ribbon, Holiday Rhinestones
Tools: Pigment Sprinkles, Aquapainter
Adhesives: Stampin' Dimensionals

Cow's it Going?

The Over the Moon stamp set was on the top of my list when this new catalog came out. The sentiments are full of funny puns, and those cows are so cute! Today's project was CASEd from Erica Cerwin. She does so many great 3D projects, but I am more of a card person, so I just turned her idea into a card! Here's her project:

And here's mine:

We made this card at my card class on Saturday, and I think everyone loved it. Who wouldn't smile if they received this card in the mail, right? And... guess where those cow spots came from? The Love What You Do stamp set has two watercolor "blobs" that make perfect cow spots!

Stay tuned for more cows, later this week!

Stamps: Over the Moon, Love What You Do
Ink: Memento Black; Stampin' Blends - Light Daffodil Delight, Light Old Olive, Light & Dark Flirty Flamingo, Dark Basic Black
Paper: Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo
Embellishments: Black 5/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon
Tools: Be Mine Stitched Dies, Pinewood Planks EF, Die Cutting Machine
Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Baker's Box Treat

I have a few last Holiday Catalog projects to share with you. This one is from a few months ago - oops!

I colored the Baker's Box with Coastal Cabana ink. I first tried to spritz it, but I wasn't getting very good coverage. I ended up using a sponge dauber to finish adding and evening out the color. I think a sponge brayer would probably be the most efficient way to add color to the box. I've since added some to my craft room!

These boxes are food safe, and I added a large slice of cheesecake to mine. This was a birthday treat for Jenna's teacher. The Glittered Organdy Ribbon finished it off with a little sparkle. I love this ribbon!

Stamps: Stitched All Around
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Tuxedo Black
Paper: Whisper White
Accessories & Tools: Baker's Boxes, Sponge Daubers, 5/8" Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Stitched Labels Framelits, Big Shot, Rhinestones
