I don't like snow, but I do like snowmen, and the Spirited Snowmen stamp set was a must have for me! If it's on your wish list, you only have a few hours left to get it!

Sorry for the poor quality of this picture. It's been chilly and cloudy this week, and I've been sick with a cold, so I didn't venture outside like I usually do to take my photos. I couldn't let the last day of the Holiday Catalog go by without sharing this cutie, though!

Paper: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Toil and Trouble DSP

Baker's Box Treat

I have a few last Holiday Catalog projects to share with you. This one is from a few months ago - oops!

I colored the Baker's Box with Coastal Cabana ink. I first tried to spritz it, but I wasn't getting very good coverage. I ended up using a sponge dauber to finish adding and evening out the color. I think a sponge brayer would probably be the most efficient way to add color to the box. I've since added some to my craft room!

These boxes are food safe, and I added a large slice of cheesecake to mine. This was a birthday treat for Jenna's teacher. The Glittered Organdy Ribbon finished it off with a little sparkle. I love this ribbon!

Stamps: Stitched All Around
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Tuxedo Black
Paper: Whisper White
Accessories & Tools: Baker's Boxes, Sponge Daubers, 5/8" Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Stitched Labels Framelits, Big Shot, Rhinestones

Facebook Live: Quick & Easy Gift Bag

On yesterday's Facebook Live, I showed how to make a quick and easy gift bag using two sheets of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock and one 12" x 12" sheet of Designer Series Paper. I followed the instructions from Ronda Wade's video here. You can watch my demonstration here. Here are a few measurements to help you out:
Score each piece of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock down the long side at 1 1/2" on both sides. Score each piece at 2 3/4" down the short side, just on one side. Cut up your score line to the 2 3/4" score line on both sides to make two flaps.
Cut 4" off the top of the DSP. Then cut at 5 1/4" twice so you have two pieces of DSP that measure 5 1/4" x 8".

I am also linking up with two design challenges this week, TGIF Challenges - Anything But a Card, and Global Design Project - Tis the Season.

The tags on the bags were stamped and punched using the products in the Christmas Traditions Punch Box, on sale for only $27.00 right now! All other supplies are listed below. Please note that I used retired gold tinsel trim on one of the bags. I would recommend the Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon as the perfect substitute!

Stamps: Christmas Traditions
Ink: Poppy Parade
Paper: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Santa's Workshop Specialty DSP (sold out), Sparkle Glimmer Paper, Gold Foil, All is Bright DSP
Accessories & Tools: Layering Circles Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Christmas Traditions Punch, Versamark, Heat Tool, Gold Embossing Powder, Big Shot, Poppy Parade Textured Weave Ribbon, Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon, Gold Tinsel Trim (retired), Stampin' Trimmer

Christmas Card Club: Timeless Tidings

It's time for the last month of my Christmas Card Club already! Don't worry though - I've got a few more Christmas-themed classes to go planned between now and Christmas.

This month's class features the Timeless Tidings stamp set. With your class kit, you'll receive the stamp set in your choice of wood or clear mount, a roll of Braided Linen Trim, and the supplies and instructions to make 15 cards (5 each of those pictured below), plus envelopes. You supply your own ink and adhesive. I used Mossy Meadow ink to complete these cards.

But wait, there's more! This stamp set goes with the Timeless Tidings Project Kit, and if you'd like to add it onto your class, I will throw in 5 bonus cards (the one pictured below)!

The cost is $61 plus $7 shipping for wood mount, and $52 plus $7 shipping for clear mount. If you'd like to add on the project kit, ink, or adhesives, just let me know and I will adjust the cost for you. Per Stampin' Up! policy, you must email me for a link to purchase this kit. The deadline to purchase is November 23, and I will mail the kits out by November 30. However, if you purchase early, I will do my best to get it out sooner to you!

No Line Watercoloring with Country Home

Have you seen this technique yet? No line watercoloring is a new technique to me, but I had to try it after seeing some beautiful projects that were made using it. If you're curious about how it works, you can watch my Facebook Live from today. Basically, you stamp an image in a very light color - I used Sahara Sand stamped off once. Then you watercolor using an Aqua Painter and your ink pads. Here's the result:

It's a different look, but very artistic, I think. I'll be sharing a card later this week that I used Stampin' Blends to color, and the two looks are completely different! Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Stamps: Country Home
Ink: Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss
Paper: Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Shimmery White, Wood Textures DSP
Accessories & Tools: Aqua Painter, Galvanized Buttons, Braided Linen Trim, Versamark, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool

Copper Rejoice Card & Product Shares

Today's simple but beautiful card was featured in last week's Facebook live. I used the His Light stamp set, Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper, and copper embossing to make a stunning card without too much effort.
This card layout is perfect for using up product shares! You can mix and match the papers and ribbons, and add an embellishment if you'd like. You can even switch out the sentiment, using whatever stamp sets you already own.

Speaking of product shares, I am hosting one now through October 10! I have three options to choose from - one for paper, one for ribbon, and one for embellishments. You can choose to participate in one, two, or all three. The details are in the graphics below.

Please note that if you participate in more than one, you will only pay for shipping once. Also note that each share is split between four people, so I need four to sign up in order to place the order. You will not be invoiced until your share is full.

If you are interested in participating in a product share, please email me and let me know which ones you would like to participate in.

Here are the measurements and details for today's card:
*I used a Whisper White card base. It measures 4 1/4" x 11", and is scored and folded at 5 1/2".
*The Designer Series Paper measures 3 1/4" x 4".
*The Whisper White piece with the sentiment measures 2 1/8" x 4".
*I used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the DSP and the sentiment.
*Wrap a ribbon around the card front and tie in a bow.

Stamps: His Light
Ink: Versamark, Copper Embossing Powder
Paper: Whisper White, Joyous Noel DSP
Accessories & Tools: Heat Tool, Copper Trim

#TGIFC177: Sketch Challenge

The card I'm sharing today is working double duty! I created it using the sketch challenge over at TGIF Challenges, and I'll be using it in my card class this month. Check out the sketch!

I was inspired by a card I saw by Tami Hewlett a few weeks ago, and a Lularoe dress in my closet - that's where my color combo came from, and I just love how it came together!

I used the Perennial Birthday stamp set, which has not seen much use in my craft room. I'm a little embarrassed to tell you that I bought it with the kit it was originally designed for, and that kit is sitting unfinished on my shelf. Oops! I have good intentions to put it together. Some day. The good news is that this stamp set is beautiful and can be used all by itself!

I hope you like my card, and if you are local to Gilbert, AZ, join me for my card class this month and you'll get to make it!

Stamps: Perennial Birthday
Ink: Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel, Gray Granite
Paper: Gray Granite, Whisper White, Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel, Festive Farmhouse DSP
