#TGIFC490: Sending Happy Thoughts

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a sketch challenge. This one is perfect for using up those paper scraps you have lying around!

 

Instead of off-setting my paper strips, I cut them all the same size and did a clean and simple card.

 

The background for my paper strips is Basic Beige, embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder. And those pretty gems are the Earth Tones Shimmer Gems. I love anything with a little shimmer!

Reindeer Days Card Class

#TGIFC489: Reindeer Christmas

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a color challenge. I think this one is so pretty!

These colors work perfectly with the Reindeer Fun Bundle. I've created a background with my Blending Brushes and Berry Burst and Night of Navy inks. Then I layered on the white die cut piece - this die is part of the Reindeer Fun Dies and it's a really cool framing piece! 

 

The reindeer are colored with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Markers, and that little speckled stamp made a nice ground for them to stand on.

Splendid Autumn Pop-Up Class

I was unable to do my weekly Facebook Live card class today, so I thought I would turn the cards into a fun pop-up class! This will kind of be a mix of the card kits I usually offer with my Facebook Lives and a product-based class.

 

When you purchase this class, you'll get supplies to make 6 cards - 2 each of the 3 designs. All of the cardstock will be cut and prepped for you, including die cuts. You will cut your own Designer Series Paper. You will need to supply your own stamps, inks, and adhesives. Your card kit will include a full package of the Splendid Autumn 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, a roll of the Wild Wheat 3/8" Rustic Striped Ribbon, and a pack of the Faux Glass Dots (these are currently on the low inventory list, so if they go out of stock I will substitute a different embellishment).

This class is $42 plus $10 shipping. You may add on the Autumn Expressions Bundle and/or the inks I used at the catalog cost. If you choose to add on the bundle, I will include a gift of 5 handmade fall cards in your package!

This pop-up class is only available for a week. Fill out the form here to register by September 12. Class kits will ship on or before September 20.

The PDF tutorial will be available for $15 if you would like only the instructions. These will be sent via email when the class ships on September 20.

Creation Station: Stampin' Blends

 

Hello, and welcome to this month's Creation Station Design Team blog hop! This month we are using one of my favorite coloring tools - Stampin' Blends Markers. 

 

I've decided to sneak peek some brand new products for this challenge. I'm using the Splendid Autumn Suite Collection, which will be available to customers starting on Wednesday. 

 

I've used the leaf stamp from the Autumn Expressions Bundle to create a background piece. I stamped it repeatedly in various positions, and then colored the leaves with Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Wild Wheat Stampin' Blends Markers. Aren't these colors beautiful for fall?! 

 

To finish off my background piece, I colored the entire cardstock around the leaves with my Light Pool Party Stampin' Blends Marker. Light Pool Party is like the VIP of the entire collection of Stampin' Blends! It is great for adding shadows or a subtle background like this one. It is for sure my most used color!
