You Are One of a Kind, Valentine: Part 2

As promised, today I am sharing the 'boy' version of the Valentine treat boxes I'm making for my daughter's classmates. I stuck with the Myths & Magic suite, and she voted for dragons.

I fussy cut the dragons out of the Myths & Magic Specialty DSP. They're sparkly and fun! The little hearts come from the Heart Happiness stamp set, which I think is a staple! And of course that Basic Gray Shimmer Ribbon is from the pack you can get for free from the Sale-a-bration Catalog with a $50 purchase. It's gorgeous!

Stamps: Heart Happiness, Magical Day, Labeler Alphabet
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray
Paper: Old Olive, Whisper White, Myths & Magic Specialty DSP
Accessories & Tools: Sweet & Sassy Framelits, Magical Mates Framelits, Lots to Love Box Framelits, Big Shot, Glitter Enamel Dots, Shimmer Ribbon Pack (SAB), White Baker's Twine

Stamp 'n' Hop February: Heart Happiness Valentine

Welcome to the first ever Stamp 'n' Hop blog hop! If this is your first time visiting my blog, I'm glad you're here. My name is Rachel, and I stamp while my kids nap in Gilbert, Arizona (US). This blog hop will happen once a month, and this month we are sharing some of our favorite products from the Occasions Catalog.

There are so many things I love in this catalog that it was really hard to choose. But we all know Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, and I still needed a card for my husband. So that's where I started, and this is what I came up with:

I used a few of my favorite products from the Occasions Catalog - the Petal Palette stamp set was used for the greeting, and the hearts come from the Heart Happiness stamp set. I LOVE that striped heart! The Lots to Love Box Framelits and Sweet and Sassy Framelits made cutting the hearts out super easy. And did you notice the tiny little hearts on the Crumb Cake background piece? I used Crumb Cake ink and stamped off once for a very subtle look. Those hearts come from the Heart Happiness stamp set too. You can find a full list of supplies at the end of this post.

I can't wait to hop along with you and see what everyone else has created!

#GDP121: You Are One of a Kind, Valentine

It has been awhile since I've been so excited about a project. But this one I love! The Global Design Project's color challenge got me started. I have followed this group for awhile, but this is my first time participating in one of their challenges. Isn't this combination of colors fun?

My daughter is in kindergarten this year, and I've literally been waiting all year to design valentines for her class. She informed me that she wanted to make her own, but I think I've changed her mind. Here is the girl version:

3D projects aren't usually my thing, but I can't get over how well this one turned out! I'm excited to work off of this and design the boy version next. Stay tuned!
