Stamping Sunday - Bloom Where You're Planted

Welcome to this month's Stamping Sunday blog hop!

You might have noticed that the Creation Station blog hop didn't happen this month. We have some fun news! We are merging together with the Stamping Sunday group, and will now be hopping on the third Sunday of the month. We are working on a new combined name and logo, and will debut that next month. For now, enjoy this month's projects with the theme Fresh Starts & Creative Beginnings.

For my project, I wanted to use some fresh new products, as well as a sentiment that speaks to my heart about new beginnings and moving forward.

My card is a slimline card. The front measures 4" x 7", and it will likely become a decor piece in my workspace! I've used the gorgeous new Lovely & Beautiful Designer Series Paper. This paper has a touch of gold foil, and I've carried that through my design with other gold elements.

I've used several stamp sets here - Sweet Blooms for the sentiment and A Round of Hellos for the stamped flower.

I hope you've been inspired by my project today! Be sure to hop along and see what the rest of the team has created. You can find the hop over on Instagram, or follow the list below.

Happy Stamping!

Hopping by to Just Say Hi

I've been waiting to share today's card with you for a long time! In April, my team leader did a fun creative challenge with our team. Those who participated were split into teams, and each week she gave us different criteria for creating cards. We got points for each of the items we included, and sometimes there were extra challenges like this one - a slimline card. This was probably my favorite card that I created during the entire challenge. Take a look!

I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut out some "windows" for my kangaroos. I was inspired by Erica Cerwin, who did a peekaboo card like this, although hers was not a slimline card.

Here is a full list of my supplies:
Stamps: Kangaroo & Company
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Memento Black, Stampin' Blends Markers: Cinnamon Cider, Petal Pink
Paper: Coastal Cabana, Basic White, Flirty Flamingo, Pattern Party Designer Series Paper
Embellishments: Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack
Tools: Versamark, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Tasteful Labels Dies, Kangaroo Dies, Layering Circles Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

If you like this card and you'd like to receive a tutorial for it, be sure to join my email list. I'll be sending a tutorial for this card next Monday to my email subscribers!
