Creation Station: Two Tone Cardstock

 

It's the first Sunday of the month, and time for this month's Creation Station Design Team blog hop! Our theme this month is Two Tone Cardstock. 

 

The number one reason I love this product is that we now have cardstock in two shades of every Stampin' Up! color! I've loved using multiple shades of color on my projects, and I decided to highlight the beautiful shades of Secret Sea on my card today. 

 

To create my diagonal striped background, I glued 1/4" strips of Secret Sea Two Tone Cardstock to a piece of Basic White cardstock and then trimmed the edges. I created a pattern by alternating between the light and dark sides of the Two Tone Cardstock.

 

The other products I've used on my card are from the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection. Here is a full list of products used on this card:

#TGIFC540: Happy Halloween

It's challenge time! This week at TGIF Challenges, the theme is arches. 

 

I've paired the Everyday Arches Dies with the Spooky Sweet Suite Collection for a fun slimline Halloween card!

 

The cute little critters on my card are fussy cut from the Spooky Sweet DSP - they're one of the reasons I love this suite so much!
