For my project, I've created two treat boxes using products from the Spooky Sweet Suite Collection. This box design comes from Erica Cerwin - she created the cutest Christmas version for a Creative Convention I attended recently, and I've turned her design into a fun box for Halloween! She recommended a Little Debbie Christmas tree for her box, so I think some of the Little Debbie fall/Halloween treats might fit as well. I've put in two Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - they're my favorite. This box is perfect for a few of any fun size candies you like!
The box is a pretty easy design - cut a piece of cardstock 6 1/2" x 9 1/4". Then score the short side at 1 1/4" and 5 1/4". Score the long side at 1 1/4", 4", 5 1/4" and 8". Then cut the tabs as shown below.
Your adhesive will go only on the tabs. You'll fold four of them in to create the bottom of the box, and then the top two will fold in to create the lid. Wrap your ribbon around the box and tie in a bow, then adhere a Perennial Postage die cut to both the top and the bottom to hold the ribbon in place. When you untie the bow, your box can fold open.
Make sure to hop along and see what the rest of the team has created - they're sure to inspire you in all of your Halloween crafting!
Happy Stamping!
