#TGIFC387: Cut it Out

I am playing along with TGIF Challenges again this week. This week's challenge is a technique challenge:

 

I decided to fussy cut an image and die cut - two different ways to cut it out!

 

The Best Witches stamp set is one of our Halloween products this year, and if you love to color, this one is for you! I used a color combination of Orchid Oasis, Crushed Curry, and Basic Black.

#GDP361: Watercolor Merry Christmas

This week's challenge at Global Design Project is a color challenge. I couldn't pass up this beautiful color scheme!

 

These colors screamed Christmas to me, and I've been wanting to have a play with the Spruced Up Bundle. Add in a little bit of watercolor, and here's the card I came up with:

 

It's very hard to photograph, but I used an old Wink of Stella brush for my water-coloring, so the background is extra shimmery! I started by using my largest Water Painter and added a good layer of water to Shimmery White Cardstock. Then I used the Wink of Stella brush to add color.

#TGIFC385: Get Yeti to Party

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a sketch challenge.

 

I loosely interpreted the sketch using the Yeti to Party Bundle.

 

The Yeti Dies are while supplies last, and I highly recommend purchasing them! They cut out many images in the Yeti to Party stamp set, plus add fun accessories like the scarf.

#GDP359: Go to Your Happy Place

This week's challenge at Global Design Project is a theme challenge. 

 

I don't know about you, but I love fall! Well, maybe I love the idea of fall. Here in Arizona it's still topping 100 degrees... I had a fun idea to use the This Birthday Piggy Bundle for my card, and it came out just how I wanted!

 

The leaves are a die in the Playful Piggy Dies set that is part of the Perfect Partners Promotion going on this month. Boy, that's a tongue twister! I simply cut a bunch of the leaves apart to create my fall scene.
