Frozen Birthday Invitations

Happy Friday! I am stopping by quickly today to share the invitations I made for my oldest's birthday party this weekend. We don't do parties every year for our kids. They each got one for their first birthday, and we are doing one their kindergarten year, but that's probably going to be it. Nothing elaborate either - we just invited the kids from her class to come over and swim, have cupcakes, and the part she is looking forward to the most - the presents!

Jenna loves Frozen, so that is the theme we are using for the party. I use that term loosely, as this party is very laid back! It would be fun to go all out with decorations and everything, but at 8 1/2 months pregnant, that is not happening.

The invitations use a lot of retiring products, and a few that are returning. Sorry for the big butterfly in the middle of the picture. I am working on my photography and editing skills slowly but surely, but blurring out parts of the image is not something I have conquered yet. So ignore that and look at the rest. :)

I have quite a bit of Tempting Turquoise and Soft Sky cardstock, and since both of those colors are retiring, I let Jenna pick which one she wanted to use. She went with Tempting Turquoise. The Time to Party stamp comes from the retiring Confetti Celebration stamp set. This is a great one for birthday cards, graduation cards, and of course party invitations! The die cut snowflake and scallop edge come from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits, and they are cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, also retiring. We finished the invitations off with Frozen stickers.

Stamps: Confetti Celebration
Ink: Tempting Turquoise
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
Accessories & Tools: Seasonal Layers Thinlits, Big Shot, Rhinestones

Happy Stamping!
Rachel
