Today's card is a special one. I created it for the color challenge at Global Design Project, but it was also the last card for a team challenge that I've been a part of for the last 4 weeks. More about that in a minute... Here is the color challenge:
And here is my card:
My team leader offered a creative challenge last month - a Tic Tac Toe board was given each week for 4 weeks, and we had to create projects with different stipulations each week. Those of us who wanted to participate were put onto teams, and we are working to see who can get the most points. My team has been tied for first place, but this week there is a twist - one of the squares is worth bonus points, and we won't find out which square until the challenge is over. To be honest, it doesn't even matter to me if we win or lose. Getting to know the ladies on my team a little bit better and creating for the fun of it (even though it was a challenge) was really rewarding!
So besides the color challenge, the requirements for the Tic Tac Toe were to use a current color from the Subtles collection (all three of the colors in the color challenge worked for this!), use no stamps (this one was really hard!), and to use vellum.
Here is a full list of the products I used on this card:
Paper: Thick Basic White, So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Basic White, Subtles DSP Stack, Vellum
Embellishments: Iridescent Rhinestone, Baker's Twine Essentials Pack
Tools: Stitched Rectangles Dies, Amazing Thanks Dies, Detailed Dahlias Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals
Happy Stamping!
