The Stamping Station: Something Old, Something New

Welcome to this month's hop from The Stamping Station! Our theme this month is "Something Old, Something New," and the something old could even include retired product. I have just a *little* bit of retired product sitting around my craft room, so I loved this theme! I pulled out one of my favorite Designer Series Papers EVER - the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper, plus some Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon, and paired them with a sentiment from the Splash & Relax stamp set, the Scalloped Blooms Dies, and a gorgeous new sparkly paper that's not even released yet!

This layout is one I've used several times recently - I love the look of the scalloped dies as a focal point along the side of the card!

Here is a full list of products used on my card today:
Stamps: Splash & Relax
Ink: Crushed Curry
Paper: Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (retired), Shimmering Stripes Specialty DSP (not yet released)
Embellishments: Pearlized Faceted Circles, Bumblebee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon (retired)
Tools: Scalloped Blooms Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals

Make sure to hop along and see what the rest of the team has created with this fun theme!

Happy Stamping!

#GDP325: Sending You a Rainbow of Happiness

This week's Global Design Project challenge is a color challenge - my favorite! I just can't get enough of the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle, so I used it again this week.

I might have gone a little over the top with the ribbons, but when you're sending someone a rainbow of happiness, that's ok, right?

Here's a tip for the sentiment: the stamp comes curved in a rainbow shape, but because it's photopolymer, you can stretch and straighten it. That's what I did, and then I cut the words apart because it got a little long when it was straight. I love these colors in a rainbow - don't you?!

Here's a full list of the products I used:
Stamps: Rainbow of Happiness
Ink: Polished Pink
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Pool Party, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Vellum, Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper, Sunshine & Rainbows DSP
Embellishments: Opal Rounds, White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, Glittered Organdy Ribbon
Tools: Cloud Punch, Layering Circles Dies, Brilliant Rainbow Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Glue Dots

Happy Stamping!

#GDP324: CASE the Designer with Sunshine & Rainbows

I'm so excited to share today's card with you! I am playing along with the Global Design Project challenge this week, and I used my favorite products from the new catalogs - the rainbows! The challenge this week is to CASE the designer, and here is her card:

Here's what I came up with:

I used Versamark to stamp the little hearts on Kraft Paper, and the Stitched Rectangles Dies were perfect to make my strips of paper.

I copied the colors of a rainbow in the paper for my large stamped rainbow - So Saffron, Pool Party, Magenta Madness, and Petal Pink. Isn't that paper the best?! I think this might be my favorite pattern. You can get the paper for free with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration, and I might already have a few packs...

Here is a full list of the supplies I used:
Stamps: Rainbow of Happiness
Ink: So Saffron, Pool Party, Magenta Madness, Petal Pink, Misty Moonlight, Versamark
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Magenta Madness, Kraft Paper, Sunshine & Rainbows DSP
Embellishments: Polished Dots, Baker's Twine Essentials Pack
Tools: Stitched Rectangles Dies, Give it a Whirl Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Stamping!
