#TGIFC422: Just Swinging By

What would you do with a navy background? That's the challenge at TGIF Challenges this week!

I decided to use the Little Monkey stamp set and then picked a few colors that I think work well with Night of Navy - Lemon Lolly and Calypso Coral.

Do you like cutesy animal stamp sets? I am always drawn to them, and this one is adorable! I love the little heart image in the stamp set, and it fits right into this swinging monkey's arms.

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Little Monkey
Ink: Memento Black
Stampin' Blends Markers: Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral
Paper: Night of Navy, Basic White, Lemon Lolly
Embellishments: Ombre Matte Decorative Dots
Tools: Basics 3D Embossing Folders, Stylish Shapes Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

#TGIFC421: Happy Retirement

The challenge at TGIF Challenges this week is a theme challenge. Time to get inspired to start creating cards for the men in your life!

I used the Gone Fishing stamp set and Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper for my card.

This card layout is a nice, easy one. I cut the background piece of Designer Series Paper to 4" x 5 1/4", and the the square piece to 3" x 3". Then I layered some Misty Moonlight cardstock behind that measured 3 1/4" x 3 1/4".

Did you know that you can get 16 squares of Designer Series Paper out of one 12" x 12" piece when you cut it this size? Then just choose a sentiment and label of some sort and add it on the corner with ribbon, twine, or embellishments if you'd like. Easy peasy!

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Gone Fishing
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Paper: Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Misty Moonlight, Let's Go Fishing DSP
Embellishments: 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim, Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots
Tools: All That Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Stamping!

#TGIFC420: Sending You a Big Squeeze

I love a good sketch challenge, and that's what they've got at TGIF Challenges this week. Check it out:

I've been itching to use the Sweet Citrus Bundle, and I paired it with a few new colors - Azure Afternoon and Lemon Lolly. I am LOVING these colors!

I've also used the new White Center Specialty Paper. If you tear it, you can see the white center of the paper. I also embossed it for a lot of added texture.

That Designer Series Paper in the background comes from the Bright & Beautiful DSP stack. It's my favorite new paper!

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Sweet Citrus
Ink: Azure Afternoon, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lolly
Paper: Azure Afternoon, Basic White, White Center Specialty Paper, Bright & Beautiful DSP
Embellishments: Iridescent Rhinestones

Creation Station: Dots & Spots

Hello, and welcome to this month's Creation Station Design Team blog hop! Our theme this month is Dots & Spots.

I suggested this theme because I love polka dots, and I can't wait to see what everyone has created this month. For the "spot" part of the theme, I was thinking animal spots, so I've incorporated both dots and spots into my card.

For the dots in my background, I used the Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper.

Here's a fun tip: that Gold Celebrations paper can be flipped over, and it's silver on the other side!

For my spots, I used the Zany Zoo Bundle. This is one of my favorite bundles in the new catalog - it's so playful and fun!

I really enjoyed pulling out a lot of new products for this card. Here is a list of all the products I used:
Stamps: Zany Zoo
Ink: Memento Black, Berry Burst
Stampin' Blends Markers: Light & Dark Lemon Lolly, Light & Dark Bubble Bath, Light Berry Burst, Light Basic Black
Paper: Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, Basic White, Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper, Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper
Embellishments: Tinsel Gems Four-Pack, 3/8" Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack
Tools: Zany Zoo Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Nested Essentials Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

Make sure you hop along and check out what the rest of the team has created this month! Next up is the lovely Mikaela Titheridge.

Happy Stamping!
