January 2019 Paper Pumpkin: Bookmark Alternative Project

It's no secret that I love Paper Pumpkin, but it has been a long time since I've shared a Paper Pumpkin project here. I have loved all of the kits recently, but haven't had a lot of time to put them together. That changed this month because I knew this kit was perfect for making valentines with my daughter for her class! Her teacher asked that we limit treats since they would be having plenty of sweets at their class party, so we came up with bookmarks instead.

We added a few colors of cardstock (Crumb Cake, Pool Party, and Melon Mambo), the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder, and Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon to the supplies in the kit. I hope her classmates loved them!

Don't miss out on March's Paper Pumpkin kit! It is birthday-themed, and there will be a bonus free stamp set to celebrate Paper Pumpkin's 6th birthday. Subscribe here or purchase a prepaid subscription.

Facebook Live: Lovely Lattice Card

Today's card is a little piece of spring. In my part of the country, our peach and apple trees are starting to leaf out and blossom, and I have some flowers waiting to be planted. Spring is definitely in the air! I know that's not the case for some of you, so I hope this card reminds you that spring is coming! Eventually.

I used Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to color the flowers. I stamped a second time, fussy cut a few of the flowers, and added them with Stampin' Dimensionals. The picture gives you an idea, but in real life it adds so much to the card!

If you'd like to see how I put this card together, you can check out today's Facebook Live.

Stamps: Lovely Lattice, Butterfly Gala
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Night of Navy
Paper: Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Accessories & Tools: Watercolor Pencils - Calypso Coral and Old Olive, Blender Pens, Night of Navy Baker's Twine

#tgifc198: Sprinkled With Love Valentine's Day Card

The Hello Cupcake stamp set has seen a lot of ink in my craft room, but I think today's card is my favorite creation yet! I followed the sketch challenge at TGIF Challenges.

The highlights on this card are the white embossing on white cardstock for the frosting, the teeny tiny hearts cut from the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits, and the Lovely Lipstick Foil accents. If you have the Hello Cupcake stamp set, you'll definitely want to invest in the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits, available to customers beginning March 1, or now as part of your starter kit!

Ink: Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay
Paper: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Lovely Lipstick (SAB)
Accessories & Tools: Call Me Cupcake Thinlits (available March 1), Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Polka Dot Basics EF, Big Shot, Versamark, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Silver Baker's Twine

#tgifc197 Sweet Wishes Card

During today's Facebook Live, I talked a lot about the Stampin' Up! Starter Kit, but I also made a cute card using the Hello Cupcake stamp set. The inspiration for this card came from this week's color challenge over at TGIF Challenges.

And guess what? I just bought the brand new Call Me Cupcake Thinlits, and they make that cut out frosting look so sharp! No more trying to fussy cut that swirl at the top. And the fun little star pick is also from the die set. I already loved this set, but now I think I love it even more! Customers will be able to purchase the dies in March, or you can add them to a starter kit right now!

Stamps: Hello Cupcake
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Pineapple Punch, Berry Burst
Paper: Coastal Cabana, Berry Burst, Pineapple Punch, Whisper White
Accessories & Tools: Call Me Cupcake Thinlits, Big Shot, Gingham Gala Sequins, Versamark, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Silver Baker's Twine
