#GDP378: A Super Simple Sketch

This week's challenge at Global Design Project is a sketch challenge. I kind of love this simple sketch!

I used the beautiful Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper again - purple is my favorite color, and this paper has several different shades of it.

The sentiment comes from another Sale-a-bration freebie, the Sending Support stamp set. This stamp set is free with a $50 purchase.

#TGIFC404: A Beautiful Birthday

The challenge this week at TGIF Challenges is a theme challenge.

We can all use more birthday cards, right? I used the Framed Florets stamp set and the Sale-a-bration Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper to create a special birthday card for one of my team members.

This fun fold really shows off the paper, AND it's a super easy way to create something that will make your recipient feel special. I shared a video on my YouTube channel today from my 12 Weeks of Christmas series that shows how to put a card like this together:

#TGIFC403: Happy Valentine's Day

A sketch challenge is always so much fun, and I'm playing along with TGIF Challenges and their sketch challenge this week.

This sketch is simple, and was easy to work with! I used the Country Floral Lane Suite and created a Valentine's Day card.

I used the Country Bouquet Punch to create a subtle, textured background. I punched the larger heart out of Crumb Cake cardstock a number of times and layered the hearts onto another piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.

I also used the Country Bouquet stamp set, Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins from this suite of products. Stampin' Up!'s coordination is the best, and makes it so easy to create beautiful projects!

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Country Bouquet
Ink: Blushing Bride, Sweet Sorbet
Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Country Floral Lane DSP
Embellishments: 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine, Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins
Tools: Country Bouquet Punch, Stitched Rectangles Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

#GDP377: Country Bouquet Card

This week's challenge at Global Design Project is a color challenge. These colors make me think spring!

I used products from the Country Floral Lane Suite to make my card. It was kind of fun to go outside of the pink/red/blue color scheme you'll see in the catalog spread for this suite.

This stamp set comes with a coordinating punch. Aren't punch bundles the best?! The two hearts are on one stamp, as are the two leaves, which makes this punch quick and easy to use.

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Country Bouquet
Ink: Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, So Saffron
Paper: Balmy Blue, Basic White, So Saffron, Granny Apple Green, Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper
Embellishments: Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins
Tools: Country Bouquet Punch
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

#TGIFC402: Be My Valentine

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a color challenge. I'm not sure which I enjoy more - a color challenge or a sketch challenge - but this color challenge definitely includes colors that are right up my alley!

I decided to use the products that were already out in my crafting space: the Share a Milkshake Bundle, Country Gingham DSP, and the Fabulous Frames Dies. Here's what I came up with:

Now before you go thinking that's a burnt ice cream cone, have you ever tried the Oreo sugar cones? So yummy! That's what I was going for here.

I stamped off on the scoops of ice cream and the little background hearts to create the lighter shades of Polished Pink. And isn't that heart tucked into the top scoop adorable?! I think that little spot to tuck things in is my favorite feature of this die set!

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Share a Milkshake
Ink: Early Espresso, Polished Pink
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Early Espresso, Polished Pink, Country Gingham DSP
Embellishments: Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds
Tools: Share a Milkshake Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Fabulous Frames Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

#TGIFC401: Simple Adorable Owls Card

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a technique challenge, and the technique is: simple.

Most of my cards are not overly complicated, but to me simple is mainly just stamps, ink, and paper. So that's what I went with! I did add a little embellishment, because I can hardly make a card without adding some type of bling. Plus, that's a simple add, right?

I used the Adorable Owls stamp set, which will be available starting tomorrow as a free Sale-a-bration reward when you spend $50. The stamp set has three cute owl images, as well as three sentiments. You're going to love it!

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Adorable Owls (SAB)
Ink: Memento Black, Tahitian Tide
Stampin' Blends Markers: Fresh Freesia, Tahitian Tide, Light Crumb Cake, Light Pumpkin Pie, Light Petal Pink
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Dandy Designs DSP (SAB)
Embellishments: Glossy Dots Assortment
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals

Creation Station: Celebrate Sale-a-Bration

Happy New Year! It's been a hot minute since I've found time to blog, but I'm excited to start off the new year hopping along with the Creation Station Design Team. Our theme this month is Celebrate Sale-a-Bration. Sale-a-Bration starts in just a few days, and you will have some AMAZING products to choose from for your rewards this year!

For my project this time, I created a trio of cards using the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper. This paper is free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration, January 5-February 28.

This paper is so pretty, you really don't need to add much else to make beautiful cards!

I used two stamp sets for my sentiments - a new set called Something Fancy, and the Framed Florets stamp set, which was an early release from the upcoming mini catalog. These stamp sets both come in bundles with dies, and both are around that $50 mark to help you earn the paper for free.

You can shop the new mini catalog and earn Sale-a-Bration rewards starting on Thursday.

Take a hop around and see what the rest of the Creation Station Design Team has created this month. Next up is Dani Dziama - I'm sure you're going to love her project!

Happy Stamping!
