#TGIFC469: You're the Most Awesome Friend

There is an inspiration challenge at TGIF Challenges this week, and of course I had to play along!

The butterflies were the inspiration for my background of lots of little hearts, and I decided to do a rainbow of colors with the emboss resist technique because that color scheme reminded me of spring.

I used an unlikely stamp set for my sentiment - the Trusty Tools stamp set. While this bundle is geared towards the guys, I love this sentiment for anyone! I paired it with the Mini Alphabet Dies and a strip of Coastal Cabana hearts from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack.

Here is a full list of products used on my card:
Stamps: Country Bouquet, Trusty Tools
Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Berry Burst, Versamark
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Coastal Cabana, Brights DSP Stack, Watercolor Paper
Embellishments: Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins
Tools: White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Water Painters, Zany Zoo Dies, Mini Alphabet Dies, Nested Essentials Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

#TGIFC468: You're the Best

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a sketch challenge, and I had a lot of fun playing along!

My sentiment comes from the Hooray for Surprises Bundle. This bundle has some interactive dies that are really unique, but I also love the sentiments in the stamp set.

I've also used the Just Kiddin' Designer Series Paper, the Give it a Whirl Dies (for the stars), and the Scalloped Contours Dies. These three products are all retiring, and at the time of writing still currently available. If you don't have them yet, I highly recommend adding them to your shopping list! You can shop for them here.

I've used these colors with the Perennial Postage and Painted Lavender Bundles.

Creation Station: Heat Embossing

Welcome to this month's Creation Station Design Team blog hop! Our theme this month is Heat Embossing, and I've used several of my favorite heat embossing techniques on my card.

I love heat embossing in white on darker cardstock, and I've done this for both the sentiment and on the corners of my card. I also chose to use the emboss resist technique for the flowers. I embossed them in white on Watercolor Paper, and then used Gorgeous Grape and Shaded Spruce ink to watercolor. This technique always has gorgeous results!

Here is a full list of products I've used on my card:
Stamps: Perennial Postage, Painted Lavender
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Shaded Spruce, Versamark
Paper: Gorgeous Grape, Basic Black, Watercolor Paper, Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper
Embellishments: Silver-Threaded Twine, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
Tools: Heat Tool, White Embossing Powder, Water Painters
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Mini Glue Dots

Make sure to hop along and see what the rest of the design team has created! Next up is the wonderful Kathy Kartak.

#GDP438: Hello There

Every week, I admire the Global Design Project challenge, and every week, I plan to play along. It hasn't actually happened in quite awhile, but this week I did it! There is a sketch challenge this week - check it out:

I used the Latte Love Bundle again, as well as the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper. This time, I used some of the dies to create my little French press.

The little hint of Berry Burst just pulls the card together. Berry Burst is one of my favorite Stampin' Up! colors!

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Latte Love
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Pecan Pie, Early Espresso, Basic White, Berry Burst, Vellum, A Little Latte DSP
Embellishments: Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots, Pecan Pie 3/8" Center Stripe Ribbon
Tools: Bee Builder Punch, Latte Love Dies, Everyday Details Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Glue Dots

One more note: Vellum is retiring, can you believe it? Make sure to add some to your order so you can use it to create this cute French press too!

#TGIFC465: You're the Best Part of My Day

Today's card was inspired by the theme challenge at TGIF Challenges this week.

I am featuring the Latte Love Bundle on social media this week, and the timing was perfect for this challenge!

I've created a simple card using the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper and just a few stamps from the Latte Love stamp set. I did die cut the coffee cup, but if you are newer to paper-crafting and don't have a die-cutting machine, this would be an easy one to fussy cut.

Also of note are a few retiring products I've used on this card: the Decorative Circle Punch and Vellum. I know - how can Vellum be leaving?! These two products are ones I use fairly frequently, and you won't want to miss them! Click here to shop and get them before they sell out.

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Latte Love
Ink: Early Espresso, Pecan Pie
Paper: Early Espresso, Coastal Cabana, Basic White, Pecan Pie, Vellum, A Little Latte DSP
Embellishments: Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots, Pecan Pie 3/8" Center Stripe Ribbon
Tools: Decorative Circle Punch, Latte Love Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

#TGIFC464: Sending Oceans of Love

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is an inspiration challenge.

There are so many beautiful floral sets that could work well with this inspiration, but I decided to go another route and create an ocean scene with the Submarine Life Bundle.

I used Watercolor Paper, the largest Water Painter, and Tahitian Tide ink to create my background. Then I did some fussy cutting to create the sea grass floor and to add a few sea creatures.

Here is a full list of products I used on this card:
Stamps: Submarine Life
Ink: Tahitian Tide, Bubble Bath, Parakeet Party, Orchid Oasis, Fresh Freesia
Paper: Tahitian Tide, Basic White, Watercolor Paper
Embellishments: Iridescent Rhinestones
Tools: Submarine Life Builder Punch, Water Painters, Paper Snips
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

This bundle is so much fun to create with! Shop here to get your own.

#TGIFC463: What's Moo with You?

TGIF Challenges has a sketch challenge this week, and I thought it was a fun one!

I used the Cutest Cows Bundle, the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper, and a new embossing folder for my card.

The embossing folder I used for the background is one of our smaller embossing folders and comes in a set of 2. The set is called Fun Patterns Embossing Folders, and they were just released with our brand new Online Exclusive products last week!

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Cutest Cows
Ink: Memento Black
Stampin' Blends Markers: Basic Black, Petal Pink
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Daffodil Delight, Bee Mine Designer Series Paper
Embellishments: Glossy Dots Assortment, Sweet Sorbet 1/4" Bordered Ribbon
Tools: Decorative Circle Punch, Cutest Cows Builder Punch, Fun Patterns Embossing Folders, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

#TGIFC462: There's No Bunny Like You

Happy Thursday! March is already flying by, and before you know it, it will be Easter. I've been using the Excellent Eggs Bundle this week, and it was a great match for the color challenge at TGIF Challenges.

I wanted to do something fun with the little bunny stamp in this set, so I used the three colors in the challenge to make a pattern in the background. The Easter bunny is magical, so it can be any color, right?!

Here is a list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Excellent Eggs
Ink: Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Lemon Lolly
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Highland Heather, Subtles 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper
Embellishments: Adhesive-Backed Rainbow Dots, Baker's Twine Three Color Pack
Tools: Everyday Details Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

Creation Station: Sweet Delights & Sugared Dreams

Welcome to this month's Creation Station Design Team blog hop! Our theme this month is Sweet Delights & Sugared Dreams.

I've pulled out my Excellent Eggs Bundle to create some chocolate Easter eggs.

Did you know that you can heat emboss in any of our ink colors and clear embossing powder?

Embossing with regular ink just takes a little bit of fast work, because the ink dries faster than Versamark ink. For my dark chocolate egg, I've stamped in Early Espresso ink on Early Espresso cardstock and then heat embossed with the Clear Embossing Powder. The milk chocolate egg is Pecan Pie ink stamped on Pecan Pie cardstock. Make sure to get your embossing powder onto the stamped image as quickly as possible for the best results.

To make this card even more fun, I've used a few brand new Online Exclusive products that will be available starting Tuesday. The background paper is the new Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper, the ribbon is the Natural 3/8" Polka Dot Trim, and the embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots. So pretty, right? This new batch of Online Exclusives is a good one!

I hope you'll hop along today and see what sweet treats the other members of the design team have shared. Up next is the fabulous Mikaela Titheridge.

Happy Stamping!
