I haven't had a lot of time to create lately, but when I took some time last week to put together a little gift for my sister-in-law's birthday, I came up with this cute little gift bag and matching card. It turned out to be one of my favorite things that I've created in a long time!
The products I used come from the It's My Party product suite in the Occasions Catalog. One of my favorite things in this catalog is the It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack. It's a 12 x 12 stack of paper, and the patterns and colors are just perfect for birthdays! I am also really loving the color combination of Basic Black, Whisper White and Melon Mambo lately. Valentine's Day is coming up, and maybe you've seen samples of valentines made with the new Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies. I plan to use it for some valentines too, but the card I have to share with you today is a wedding card. A good friend of mine got married just after Christmas, and I thought that the Bloomin' Heart Die cut out in Red Glimmer Paper was just perfect to go with her Christmas wedding! Take a look:

One of my New Year's resolutions is to get birthday and anniversary cards sent out on time, so they actually reach the person on or before their special day. One of my dear friends has a birthday on January 4. Did I have her card sent? No. It wasn't even made. So far I am failing miserably at my resolution. Sorry, Michelle! Your card is going in the mail today! I will have to keep working at this resolution...
