#TGIFC476: Your Friendship is the Best Gift

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a color challenge. Check it out!

To be honest, this color challenge was difficult for me! I always try to use the products I'm featuring on social media for the week, and this week that's the Seaside Wishes Bundle. The orange and blue I could get on board with, but the gray was kind of a wild card for me. Here's how it turned out:

What do you think? I watercolored some of the Azure Afternoon and Pumpkin Pie onto Watercolor Paper, then after it was dry I used the Seaside Wishes Dies to die cut my starfish and coral. I did my stamping in Basic Gray, and for the sentiment I've used the new Labeled with Love Punch.

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Seaside Wishes
Ink: Azure Afternoon, Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Azure Afternoon, Basic Gray, Watercolor Paper
Embellishments: Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Iridescent Pearls
Tools: Labeled with Love Punch, Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder, Seaside Wishes Dies, Wildflower Designs Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

#TGIFC475: You Make Me Ha-pea

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a theme challenge.

I've used the Sweet Peas stamp set again. I love these two peas in a pod with the little heart!

I fussy cut the peas and placed them on a heart background. The die cut hearts come from the Friends for Life Bundle - I thought they were perfect for this card!

I've also stamped the greenery images in Granny Apple Green on Granny Apple Green cardstock for another background piece.

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Sweet Peas
Ink: Memento Black, Granny Apple Green
Stampin' Blends Markers: Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo
Embellishments: Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Creation Station: June Hop

It's time for this month's Creation Station Design Team hop! Our theme this month is to use a new In Color with a Core Color plus a neutral. For my color combination, I've paired Pretty in Pink with Granny Apple Green and Basic White.

Isn't this stamp set just the cutest? It's called Sweetest Peas, and it's full of punny sentiments. I love it!

I've created a soft background of Pretty in Pink by using a Blending Brush. Then I die cut circles using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. The peas are colored in Granny Apple Green and Pretty in Pink, with just a bit of Summer Splash to add some contrast on the party hat.

I hope you'll hop along to see what the rest of the team has created this month! Up next is the wonderful Teri West.
