May 2015 Paper Pumpkin: Birthday Bundle

I LOVE this month's Paper Pumpkin kit! The stamps, the colors, the projects - all great! Let's start with the stamp set. I think I will be using it for many birthday cards in the future.

So the kit came with supplies for 4 gift bags and 6 cards. I didn't stray too far from the intended project, but I did make 4 different bags and 6 different cards. I had fun coming up with a few different ideas. I hope you like them!

The only thing I added was a few markers, and some glue dots to hold down the twine on the cards where it is used as the balloon string. The markers I used were Bermuda Bay, Tangerine Tango, and Crushed Curry. I think the yellow might actually be Daffodil Delight, but I couldn't find that marker, and the Crushed Curry worked out alright. The banners on the second to last card were made with the two extra tags (the rounded part is hidden underneath, and I just trimmed the edge to make a banner). The only thing I had left was one extra white circle. It just didn't fit to put two circles on one card. The twine was a little bit shorter on my last two bags since I used some on two of the cards, but I still had plenty to close the bag, and the bow looked large enough. It was worth it for those two cards, I think!

Have you subscribed to Paper Pumpkin yet? The kits just keep getting better and better every month, and right now there is a sale of 50% off your first two months. That brings the price down to about $10/month, which is awesome! All you have to do is click here to sign up, and then make sure to enter promo code SAVE50. I'll send you a few little welcome gifts if you do. :-)

Happy Stamping!
Rachel
