#TGIFC538: Relax & Enjoy

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a product challenge, and the featured product is one that I'm sure many of you have in your craft rooms - the Country Woods Designer Series Paper!

This paper was a perfect pairing with the bundle I'm featuring this week, the Notes & Totes Bundle. I used the Country Woods paper for the boardwalk on my card.

A few other fun details on this card:
  • I used Wink of Stella on the sunglasses - because how fun are sparkly sunglasses?!
  • the Misty Moonlight paper in the background is from the Kintsugi Inspirations pack - perfect for a cloudy/ocean scene
  • those little pearls are the Riverside Irregular Pearls, and they're on sale in the Last Chance section of the store

What is your favorite part of this card? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Stamping!

#TGIFC537: Floral Charm Thank You Card

This week at TGIF Challenges, the challenge is a sketch challenge, and I really like this one!

I've used the Label Me Grateful Bundle and the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper for my card.

Night of Navy and Timid Tiger is not a color combination I would usually gravitate towards, but these are the colors in the Floral Charm paper, and it turns out that I really like it! If you like this color combination too, I've created a graphic with all of the colors in the card that you can save for later:

Here is a full list of products I've used on my card:
Stamps: Label Me Grateful
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Night of Navy, Timid Tiger, Basic Beige, Floral Charm DSP
Embellishments: Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots, Misty Moonlight & White 1/4" Starter Ribbon Pack
Tools: Basics Wow! Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Label Me Grateful Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Creation Station: Magical Monochrome

It's time for this month's Creation Station hop! It's been a few months since I've hopped along, and I'm so happy that I've found some creative mojo (and time!) to create a project for this month's hop.

This month's theme is Magical Monochrome. My favorite color is purple, so of course I had to use it for my card! I've used the A Little Cheer stamp set and seven shades of purple/pink. From top to bottom, the colors I used are: Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Blackberry Bliss.

I absolutely love creating watercolor backgrounds, so I used the same colors as my cardstock strips and did a little watercolor wash. Before water-coloring, I heat embossed the snowflake from the stamp set in white a few times on my background piece.

Here is a full list of products used on my card:
Stamps: A Little Cheer
Ink: Versamark, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Blackberry Bliss
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Watercolor Paper, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Blackberry Bliss
Embellishments: Rhinestones, Shimmer Star Foam Stickers, Gold & Silver 1/8" Trim Combo Pack
Tools: Basics Wow! Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Water Painters (retired), Textured Notes Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

I hope you enjoyed this non-traditional Christmas card, and make sure to hop along and see what the rest of the team has created!

Happy Stamping!
