Christmas Flash Class!

Hi, friends!

I've had to cancel this week's online card class, but I am offering a Christmas Flash Class instead! This class is only available for one week, and it ships out rather quickly (by December 5). I did a quick video to show the cards and explain a little bit more about the class. You can watch the video here:  

 

Here's a little peek at the cards in this class. There is a danger of this paper going out of stock, so while I will do my best to order as class registrations come through, I may have to make a substitution. 

 

To add a little bit of extra fun, I am also going to add a gift to some of the packages. For every 5 class kits that are purchased, I will choose one random person from everyone who has purchased this class to receive one of our $14 kits. Yay! 

This class is available to purchase until Friday, November 28. Class kits will ship out by December 5. If you'd like to purchase the class, please fill out the registration form, and I will send you an invoice.

#TGIFC550: Season's Eatings

It's been a hot minute since I've played along with a challenge, but I'm jumping back in with the color challenge at TGIF Challenges this week. Check it out!

 

I decided to use the Gingerbread Man Bundle paired with an Old Olive pattern from the Traditions of Christmas DSP.

 

The Gingerbread Man Bundle is so much fun to craft with! There are a variety of faces to stamp on your gingerbread man, as well as some super cute accessory dies, not to mention the puns in the sentiments. I love it!

Creation Station: Two Tone Cardstock

 

It's the first Sunday of the month, and time for this month's Creation Station Design Team blog hop! Our theme this month is Two Tone Cardstock. 

 

The number one reason I love this product is that we now have cardstock in two shades of every Stampin' Up! color! I've loved using multiple shades of color on my projects, and I decided to highlight the beautiful shades of Secret Sea on my card today. 

 

To create my diagonal striped background, I glued 1/4" strips of Secret Sea Two Tone Cardstock to a piece of Basic White cardstock and then trimmed the edges. I created a pattern by alternating between the light and dark sides of the Two Tone Cardstock.

 

The other products I've used on my card are from the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection. Here is a full list of products used on this card:

Creation Station: Magical Monochrome

 

It's time for this month's Creation Station hop! It's been a few months since I've hopped along, and I'm so happy that I've found some creative mojo (and time!) to create a project for this month's hop.

 

This month's theme is Magical Monochrome. My favorite color is purple, so of course I had to use it for my card! I've used the A Little Cheer stamp set and seven shades of purple/pink. From top to bottom, the colors I used are: Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Blackberry Bliss. 

 

 

I absolutely love creating watercolor backgrounds, so I used the same colors as my cardstock strips and did a little watercolor wash. Before water-coloring, I heat embossed the snowflake from the stamp set in white a few times on my background piece.

December 2024 Christmas Card Club Sneak Peek

Friday afternoon is a great time for a sneak peek, don't you think?! This month's Christmas Card Club features the Snowy Wonder Bundle. I used this bundle for my Monthly Card Club last month, and I loved it so much that I wanted to use it again! 

 

My Christmas Card Club runs year round, and so while this month's kit will not get to you before Christmas, this is a great time to join and start on your cards for next year! Future you will be so grateful to have all of your cards finished and ready to go in 2025. ;)

This club is $44/month, and each month you'll get supplies to make 8 Christmas cards - 2 each of 4 designs. Your class kit will also include products you'll use on your cards - usually a half package of Designer Series Paper, a full roll of ribbon, and a full embellishment. You'll also get all of the card bases and cardstock pieces you need to complete your cards, envelopes, and a PDF tutorial. You can add on the stamp set/bundle and any inks I used that month to your kit, or substitute products you already own. Shipping is included in the subscription fee. There is no commitment to belong to the club for a certain amount of time - you can join or cancel whenever you'd like. However, for every six consecutive months that you subscribe, I'll send you a fun little gift package valued at $20+!

Gift Card Holder Card Class

I don't know about you, but I give a good number of gift cards at Christmas, and the gift is a little bit more special if it comes in something pretty. Enter this card class!

 

In this class through the mail, you'll get supplies to make 5 different gift card holders. You can add on a second set (to make 2 of each) for just $7!

This class includes a full pack of the A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series, a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, a half pack of the Festive Glimmer Paper, and a package of Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs. You will also get all of the cardstock you'll need to complete the gift card holders, plus envelopes, a PDF tutorial, and a video tutorial.

You can choose to add on the Festive Words stamp set, or substitute a stamp set you already own. The ink colors I used are Garden Green, Real Red, and Memento Black. (The Memento Black ink pad is currently out of stock, but any black ink pad will work.) Recommended adhesives are Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, and Tear and Tape.

This class is $46, plus $10 shipping. If you'd like to add on a second set of gift card holders (to make 2 of each instead of 1), you can do that for just $7.

The deadline to sign up for this class is Tuesday, December 10, and class kits will ship out by December 13. However, if you sign up and pay by Monday, December 2, I will ship an early round of class kits on December 6.

There is an option to purchase the tutorial only. This will include both a PDF and video tutorial. The cost for this is $15.
