Hippest Hippos Card Class

Last summer during Sale-a-bration, I collected a number of extra Hippest Hippos stamp sets and the coordinating dies. I'm excited to offer you a card class that includes both of these. And the cards are SUPER cute!

 

This card class through the mail will include supplies to make 10 cards - 2 each of 5 designs. The class will also include a free stamp set and coordinating dies! You will get a package of the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Card Pack, a roll of Tahitian Tide Metallic Woven Ribbon, a package of Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio, a set of Gray Granite Stampin' Blends Markers, and a set of Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends Markers, plus all of the cardstock bases and pieces you'll need to complete your cards, envelopes, and a PDF tutorial.

You have the option to add on the inks and adhesives needed to complete your cards. I will include these in your package at no extra shipping charge to you. Inks needed: Memento Black and Azure Afternoon

Recommended adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The cost of this class is $62, plus $9 shipping. The deadline to register is Tuesday, August 8, or while supplies last. I have a limited number of stamp and die sets available.

If you already own the Hippest Hippo stamp set and Hippo Dies, I have a cheaper option of the class for you! This option includes everything listed above EXCEPT for the two sets of Stampin' Blends Markers (and of course the stamps and dies). This option is $38, plus $9 shipping.

Class kits will ship on or before August 18.

#GDP403: Hope & Peace for Christmas

This week's challenge at Global Design Project is a fun one - stripes!

 

I decided to go with another Christmas card, and this time I paired up the So Very Merry stamp set and the Hope & Peace stamp set.

 

The So Very Merry stamp set has a number of stained glass images, and I colored in the angel with Petal Pink, Wild Wheat, Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, and Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends Markers.

#TGIFC429: Christmas in July

Have you started crafting for Christmas yet? I craft for Christmas all year, but I think for many people, "Christmas in July" is a good time to start. TGIF Challenges has a sketch challenge this week, and I used it as a starting point for a Christmas card.

I love this sketch, and I'm saving it to use again. It's so simple, but offers so many possibilities for variation! I went with a watercolor background for the center panel, and then used the Real Red polka dot pattern from the Regals DSP Stack for the top and bottom panels. The sparkly gold paper peeking out is from the More Dazzle Specialty Paper pack.

I used the Crafting With You Bundle to create my card. I love this sentiment and all of the dies in this bundle are so much fun to use!

 

The colors I used on this card are Berry Burst, Boho Blue, Fresh Freesia, Smoky Slate, and Basic Gray. These are some of my current favorites!

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a color challenge. Love these!

 

I paged through my catalog and waited for inspiration to jump off the pages. When I got to the Hello Ladybug stamp set, it seemed perfect for these colors! I paired it with a few stamps from the Crafting With You stamp set. Here's how it turned out:

 

The black and white patterns in the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper were another great fit for this challenge.
