#TGIFC498: Let it Snow

It's a sketch challenge at TGIF Challenges this week, and I love it!

 

I've used some products from the Snowy Scenes Suite Collection to create my card.

 

Isn't that little snow globe cute?! It's cut right out of the Designer Series Paper. The paper in this suite is so fun - there are classic Christmas colors and images, along with a few unexpected colors. Plus I always love it when Stampin' Up! has images that can be die cut right out of the paper!

#TGIFC494: Sending Love Your Way

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a sketch challenge. I like how basic this one is - you can really take it in a lot of different directions!

 

I was inspired by projects shared with the Regal Flora Bundle that were created by the Artisan Design Team. They used colors outside of the color scheme of the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper, and I just loved some of their combinations! So I came up with one of my own. Black and white with a pop of color is my favorite!

 

The striped Designer Series Paper in the background actually comes from the Halloween Spells paper pack. And the gold thread and hearts are a little sneak peek of some upcoming Online Exclusive products. They will be available in November, or you can add them to a starter kit today.

 

My color combination for this card was Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, and black and white.

October Card Club Sneak Peek

This month's Card Club kit features the gorgeous Regal Winter Suite Collection. And although "winter" is in the name, these cards would be perfect anytime! Here's a peek:

Creation Station: Into the Night

 

Welcome to this month's Creation Station Design Team blog hop! This month, our theme is "Into the Night."

 

This theme made me think about Halloween, and I was excited to pull out some of our brand new scrapbooking products and create a Halloween layout!

 

A few weeks ago, I put together the Halloween Memories Scrapbooking Workshop Kit, and I needed to do an additional two-page layout to finish my photos from this particular Halloween. 

 

It has been a LONG time since I scrapbooked, so I needed some inspiration. I decided to use one of the layouts in the Autumn to Remember Scrapbooking Workshop Kit and rework it with the Halloween papers. 

 

My layout is pretty simple, without a lot of extra pieces and embellishments, but I think this paper is so fun for Halloween, and scrapbooking is really all about the photos!

#TGIFC491: Sweater Weather

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a theme challenge, perfect for the first week of fall!

 

I've paired a number of different products for my card this week - most notably the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder to mimic a sweater in the background, and the Autumn Leaves Dies to create falling leaves on my card.

 

I've also used our brand new Two Tone Cardstock. This cardstock is a lighter weight than our regular cardstock, and it is printed rather than dyed so the center is white when you tear it. One side is the regular shade of the color, and the opposite side is a slightly lighter shade. I've used Pool Party and Pumpkin Pie and die cut my leaves in both shades to add more interest to my card.

#TGIFC490: Sending Happy Thoughts

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a sketch challenge. This one is perfect for using up those paper scraps you have lying around!

 

Instead of off-setting my paper strips, I cut them all the same size and did a clean and simple card.

 

The background for my paper strips is Basic Beige, embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder. And those pretty gems are the Earth Tones Shimmer Gems. I love anything with a little shimmer!

#TGIFC489: Reindeer Christmas

This week's challenge at TGIF Challenges is a color challenge. I think this one is so pretty!

These colors work perfectly with the Reindeer Fun Bundle. I've created a background with my Blending Brushes and Berry Burst and Night of Navy inks. Then I layered on the white die cut piece - this die is part of the Reindeer Fun Dies and it's a really cool framing piece! 

 

The reindeer are colored with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Markers, and that little speckled stamp made a nice ground for them to stand on.
