#GDP355: Birthday Piggy

There is a theme challenge at Global Design Project this week:

I knew right away that I wanted to play with my brand new This Birthday Piggy stamp set and Playful Piggy Dies (available to customers next month).

 

This stamp set is so fun, but the dies make it AMAZING! To be honest, I don't spend a long time on most of my cards. They're pretty sweet and simple (and quick!). This one took a little bit longer, but it was really enjoyable to try out lots of the dies and build a scene.

 

The Playful Piggy Dies will be available to customers next month, while supplies last. OR you can get them now by adding them to a starter kit. There are also five other die sets coming that coordinate with stamp sets in the annual and mini catalog. SO fun!

#GDP354: Hey You, You're Doing Amazing

This week's challenge at Global Design Project is a sketch challenge.

I decided to use some bright colors and the Amazing Phrasing stamp set.

 

I can think of so many people who could use a card with this sentiment: Hey You, You're Doing Amazing! I thought that the cheery colors went along well with that greeting.

 

The stitched stars come from the Give it a Whirl Dies - aren't they cute?

#tgifc377: Christmas in July

If you've been following me for awhile, you know that I love to craft for Christmas all year. So this week's challenge at TGIF Challenges was a fun one for me!

 

I used a few Sale-a-bration products and a non-traditional Christmas color combination - Starry Sky and Fresh Freesia is such a pretty combo, don't you think?!

 

The Tree Lots Dies were used to cut out the snowy trees, as well as the silver stars. This is a HUGE die set that you can get for free with a $100 purchase during Sale-a-bration. I'm not sure the photos show it well, but I added some Wink of Stella to the trees. They sparkle just like the fresh snow does in winter!

 

The other Sale-a-bration product I used is the silver polka dot paper in the background. This paper is part of the Silver & Gold 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper pack, free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration.

 This week's challenge at Global Design Project is a theme challenge:

Such a fun theme, don't you think?! My mind immediately went to the hexagons in the Hello Beautiful Bundle. I've had this bundle for awhile, but hadn't used it yet. I paired it with the beautiful Wonderful World DSP.

 

This paper can be earned as a free reward with a $100 purchase during Sale-a-bration. You'll also get a stamp set that coordinates with the paper. BUT the stamp set doesn't include any sentiments, so as part of your order, I suggest picking a bundle or stamp set that includes some sentiments you could use with the paper and the floral images in the free stamp set.
