Happy Saturday! I thought it would be fun to get a little bit of crafting in today and create with the Global Design Project color challenge. I love the colors in this week's challenge, but for some reason it was a struggle to create something I was happy with. Here's the challenge:
And here's what I came up with:
I totally scrapped my first idea, and then decided to go with a non-traditional Christmas card. Using colors besides red and green for Christmas cards is one of my favorite things to do, and I think it worked out ok. What do you think?
I used the Trimming the Tree stamp set and the coordinating Tree Trimmings Dies, which will be available starting on September 1. Coordinating dies are the best!
Here is a full list of products I used on this card:
Stamps: Trimming the Tree
Ink: Flirty Flamingo
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Pool Party, Tahitian Tide
Embellishments: Tahitian Tide Metallic Woven Ribbon, 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dots
Tools: Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder, Tree Trimmings Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
Happy Stamping!
Rachel
