The Stamping Station: CASE the Catalog

Hello, and welcome to this month's hop from The Stamping Station! Our theme this month is CASE the Catalog.

I chose one of my favorite card layouts from the catalog (you can see it on the left in the second photo). If it looks familiar, it's because I've used this layout several times recently!

I switched out the bundle featured in the catalog, and used the Splash & Relax Bundle instead, along with some of my favorite colors from the Brights Collection. You'll see two DSPs featured on my card - the wave pattern is from the Waterside Retreat DSP, and the striped pattern in the background is from the Brights Painted Patterns DSP. Don't they pair together nicely?!

Here is a full list of products used on my card:
Stamps: Splash & Relax
Ink: Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst, Flirty Flamingo, Fresh Freesia, Melon Mambo
Paper: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Azure Afternoon, Basic Black, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Brights Painted Patterns DSP, Waterside Retreat DSP, Shimmering Stripes Specialty Paper
Embellishments: Shimmering Dots
Tools: Scalloped Blooms Dies, Splash & Relax Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Stamping Station: Something Old, Something New

Welcome to this month's hop from The Stamping Station! Our theme this month is "Something Old, Something New," and the something old could even include retired product. I have just a *little* bit of retired product sitting around my craft room, so I loved this theme! I pulled out one of my favorite Designer Series Papers EVER - the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper, plus some Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon, and paired them with a sentiment from the Splash & Relax stamp set, the Scalloped Blooms Dies, and a gorgeous new sparkly paper that's not even released yet!

This layout is one I've used several times recently - I love the look of the scalloped dies as a focal point along the side of the card!

Here is a full list of products used on my card today:
Stamps: Splash & Relax
Ink: Crushed Curry
Paper: Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (retired), Shimmering Stripes Specialty DSP (not yet released)
Embellishments: Pearlized Faceted Circles, Bumblebee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon (retired)
Tools: Scalloped Blooms Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals

The Stamping Station: Bold and Beautiful

Hello, and welcome to this month's blog hop from The Stamping Station! Our theme this month is Bold and Beautiful. I used bold images from the Balloon Festoon Bundle paired with a beautiful watercolor background!

This card started from a chat with my team group earlier this week. As you may know, Stampin' Up! has announced a color refresh happening in 2027. Members of the team were speculating on which colors might go, and Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, and Melon Mambo were all on the list for several people. I happen to LOVE these colors, and I think they make a beautiful color combination too. So I decided to use them together for my card.

For the watercolor background, I used Coastal Cabana ink. I did a subtle splatter with my Dark Pool Party Stampin' Blends Marker, then stamped the streamers and confetti from the Balloon Festoon stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink. The card is finished off with some of the Sunset Sparkle Sequins.

Make sure to hop along and see the bold and beautiful projects from the rest of the design team!

Happy Stamping!

The Stamping Station: Inspired by Texture

It's time for The Stamping Station blog hop, and this month's theme is Inspired by Texture. I've been using products from the Homemade Sweetness Suite Collection all week, and I just can't stop crafting with them! I used the stamps, dies, Designer Series Paper, and embossing folder on my card today.

I've added texture in several places on my card:
  • embossing the Strawberry Slush layer with the Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing Folder
  • curling the edges of the cardstock
  • tearing the Designer Series Paper layers
  • folding the ribbon (this was a little fussy, but I LOVE how it turned out!)

Here is a full list of products used on this card:
Stamps: Filled with Sweetness
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Strawberry Slush, Basic White, Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper
Embellishments: Pearlized Faceted Circles, Strawberry Slush 3/8" Faux Linen Ribbon
Tools: Basics Wow! Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing Folder, Filled with Sweetness Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesives: Stampin' Seal+, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Stamping Station: Layers of Love

It's time for this month's hop from The Stamping Station design team! You may remember from last month that the Creation Station and Stamping Sunday groups have merged, and this month we are debuting our new name and logo. This month's theme is Layers of Love, and I think you're going to be inspired by all of our projects!

For my project, I've used a brand new paper that will be released on March 3 - the Delicate Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper. It has a beautiful bronze foil, and a sneak peek of a new In Color called Hydrangea Hue! I had a lot of fun with this theme, adding lots of little details and layers to my card.

Some of my favorite details:
  • the white layer embossed with the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder
  • those beautiful corner die cuts from the Beautifully Celebrated Dies
  • the flowers and greenery fussy cut from the Delicate Dreams paper
  • the Rhinestones colored with the Bronze Stampin' Blends Marker to match the paper

Be sure to hop along and see what the rest of the team has created. Their projects are sure to inspire you!

Happy Stamping!
