Happy Birthday, Dad! #TGIFC105

I have followed the TGIF Challenges blog since its beginning, but I've never participated in any of the challenges. Until now, that is! It's a birthday/party theme this week for their second birthday, and it also happens to be my dad's birthday today, so the timing was perfect!

This was one of those cards that took me an entire afternoon to create. I know you are wondering how this simple card could take so long. Well, my dad likes those pink flamingo lawn ornaments, and I really wanted to incorporate flamingos into my card. I just couldn't make it work on the front, but inside there's a little surprise!

Oh Happy Day Card Kit Extras

You are in for a treat today! Last weekend, I hosted a class using the Oh Happy Day card kit. We made the cards in the kit, which are gorgeous! I love the bright, cheery colors! The kit makes the 20 cards pictured below.

If you have purchased kits from Stampin' Up! before, you probably know that there are usually some extra pieces left over after you have put the kit together. I wanted to use some of those extras and make some additional cards with my customers. I decided to share the cards with you today! Today I am highlighting a card from my Stamp Camp this past weekend. You may have also seen it before as part of my display stamper application post. It features the Perfectly Wrapped stamp set, which coordinates with a project kit, but is also great all by itself!

Unfortunately, I had a few people cancel at the last minute, so I had some extra paper cut for these cards. I decided to use a few different patterns of the DSP, and even flipped the embossed piece over for one of the cards. Which one is your favorite?

2016 Paper & Ribbon Share

Have you ever heard of a product share? The basic idea is that I buy the products and split them up among everyone who participates. You get to try more products for less cost!


I have decided to offer a product share for the Designer Series Paper and the ribbon in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog. I just love everything in this new catalog, and I want you to have a chance to try it all too! You can purchase one or all of the shares, but you save on shipping if you buy more than one. Designer Series Paper Share

This share will give you a sheet of every new pattern in the DSP packs, stacks and Envelope Paper! This share will get you 74 half sheets (6"x 12"), 36 6" X 6" sheets and 4 quarter (3" x 12") sheets! Wow!  

Shipping Cost 

Paper Shares will need to be shipped in Flat Rate Boxes to protect them and assure they arrive safely. That cost is $13.45. Add in the ribbon shares to this box for no additional shipping charge!
