Today's card was inspired by the challenge at Global Design Project, and a color challenge issued by my upline. I loved both, so I combined them in this beautiful card!
I drew several elements from Charlet's card - the Scripty embossing folder is used on a piece of vellum, backed by Whisper White cardstock. I arranged my lilies on the left side of the card, and used a 'thanks' sentiment from the Seriously the Best stamp set.
What is your favorite element on this card? I used so many of my favorites! Comment and let me know. Stamps: Seriously the Best, Lovely Lily Pad Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Pear Pizzazz Paper: Sahara Sand, Gorgeous Grape, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Vellum, Sparkle Glimmer Paper Embellishments: White Baker's Twine, Woven Threads Sequins Tools: Scripty EF, Lily Pad Dies Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Glue
I am definitely a last minute crafter most days. How about you? Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, I spent the afternoon working on some of mine. January's Paper Pumpkin kit, I'll Bee Yours, was the perfect starting point!
This is the intended use for the kit - and I didn't even put them all together! I added some Ghiradelli chocolate hearts for the teachers at my kids' school. Yum!
Then I moved on to the kids' treats. We found inexpensive heart lollipops, and I used the stamps in the kit, along with a bee cut from the Golden Honey Specialty paper, the Heart Punch Pack, and the Gingham Gala Sequins.
I did four different color designs, and I love how they turned out! I don't think the kids in Kindergarten and 2nd grade are going to appreciate them as much as I do. Ha! But I enjoyed making them, and that's what counts, right?
Here's a full supply list: Stamps: I'll Bee Yours Ink: Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo Paper: Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, Golden Honey Specialty DSP Embellishments: Gingham Gala Sequins Tools: Heart Punch Pack, Detailed Bee Dies Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
Today's card uses the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper. This patterned paper coordinates with FOUR punches - the Tulip Builder Punch, the Umbrella Builder Punch, the Heart Punch Pack, and the Small Bloom Punch! I used the heart pattern for my card.

Today's project is cute and fun! I was looking for projects using 6 x 6" paper to showcase the paper sampler that you can get for free in a starter kit during Sale-a-bration, and I found this cute treat bag from Pootles' Papercraft. You can follow the link to see the measurements and instructions, but it's really easy to put together!
These bags are small - perfect for a few Hershey's kisses or Dove chocolates (think Valentine's Day!). They are also a great size for party or wedding favors.
I used a regular hole punch to punch one hole through the paper at the top, and then put my ribbon through and tied a bow. You could also use a binder clip.
