Product Share: Annual Catalog 2017-2018

The new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog goes live in less than 2 days, and there is so much goodness in it! I will be offering a product share for the ribbon, Designer Series Paper, and embellishments, so if you'd like to try everything, you can! Product shares are a great way to get a little bit of each thing without paying the full price for the full product.


Here's how it works: for the ribbon share you receive 1 yard of each new ribbon, for the paper share you receive a half sheet of each design, and for the embellishment share you'll receive a selection of each new embellishment. I have a more detailed list below. This picture from last year's product share gives you an idea of how I package up the ribbon.

2017-2018 Product Share Details

Designer Series Paper Share

$54 plus $13 shipping

This share will give you a sheet of every new pattern in the DSP packs and stacks. Each pack of paper will be divided by 4 people. You will get 6” X 12” pieces from all the 12” packs except for the the specialty pieces which will be 3 X 12” because there is only one in each pack. The 6” paper packs will come as 6” X 6” pieces. 

Please refer to pages 187-189 in your Annual Catalog. This share will include the Petal Garden, Color Theory, Wood Textures, Fresh Florals, Whole Lot of Lovely, Naturally Eclectic, Coffee Break, Pick a Pattern, Be Merry, Birthday Memories, Delightful Daisy, Eastern Palace, Bundle of Love, and Foil Frenzy DSP packs. 

Ribbon Share

$45 plus $7 shipping

This share includes 49 new ribbons! (All but the Copper Trim, which is on backorder until July, so I have left it off for now.) The ribbon share ships for free with the paper share if you purchase both!

Please look at pages 198-199 in your Annual Catalog to see the ribbons. It will include the Gingham, Double- Stitched, Ombre, Classic Weave, Mini Sequin, Stitched Satin, Stitched- Edge, Finely Woven, Shimmer, Sheer, Mini Chevron, Crinkled Seam Binding, Metallic-Edge and Striped Grosgrain Ribbons. (Wow!!)

Embellishment Share

$30 plus $7 shipping

This share includes a selection of many new embellishments. Please see pages 196-197 in your Annual Catalog to see the embellishments. In your share, you will receive 6 Eclectic Shaped Paper Clips, 6 Corrugated Elements, 12 Hearts & Stars Elements, 12 Touches of Nature Elements, 15 Mini Gift Bows, 36 Faceted Gems, 3 Mini Tassels, 6 Balloon Honeycomb Embellishments, 3 Boxwood Wreaths, 10 2016-2018 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes, and 5 2017-2019 In Color Bitty Bows. This share ships for free with the purchase of the ribbon or paper share.

Sprinkled With Love: Paper Pumpkin May 2017

Today's post is all about Paper Pumpkin! Have you heard about Paper Pumpkin? It's one of my favorite products that Stampin' Up! offers! To get the words to line up correctly in the circle, I did cut my stamps apart. You can do this to gain a little more versatility with your stamps, and they line back up perfectly like a puzzle so that you can use them as intended too. Each Paper Pumpkin kit comes with at least one ink spot and an exclusive stamp set. Those are yours to keep and use over and over again, so it's a good way to build up your ink collection! #TGIFC107 Hugs for a Great Friend

This week, I am participating in the TGIF Challenges theme challenge, a sympathy or get well card.

I love all of my retiring products, but those new ones are just so fun to play with! I had to pull out the Lovely Words Thinlits and the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set for this challenge because I thought they fit the theme perfectly. I didn't think I needed this bundle from the new catalog, but then Stampin' Up! shared a video with demonstrators that showed samples using these products, and I couldn't resist any longer!

 

Today's card is actually a fancy fold card. Check it out!

To recreate it, cut an 8" x 8" square of cardstock. Then score at 4" on both sides, and cut out one of the squares. Easy peasy, and so fun!


It's hard to tell, but I wanted to add a little bit of extra sparkle to match the Glitter Enamel dots, so I got out my Wink of Stella and painted over the "hugs" cut-out. I also used Wink of Stella on my White Baker's Twine. It's very subtle, but adds just a little bit of sparkle, and who doesn't love that?!

The final thing I love about this card? The color combination! Whisper White, Basic Black, Berry Burst, and Powder Pink. You'll be seeing more of those colors around here because it's my new favorite!

Birthday Memories Twisted Pop-Up Card

I have a really cool card to share with you today! Well, I think it's really cool. My kids were not impressed when I showed it to them. It's called a Twisted Pop-Up card, and I've seen this fancy fold all over the place recently. I watched this video by The Pampered Stamper to learn how to do it, and had success on my first try!


The front of the card looks like a regular card...

...but then you open it up and get a surprise!

I thought the greetings and characters from the new Birthday Memories Suite were just perfect for this style of card. What do you think?

Cool Treats Classes to Go

I am excited to offer you two new Classes to Go this month! It has been awhile since I've been able to offer a class to go, but I hope to make this a monthly occurrence again. Each month, I plan to offer two options - a card-making option and a scrapbooking option. Both will use the same stamp set, so you can get both options and pay only a little bit more for the second class. If you choose the scrapbooking option, please know that shipping will be a bit higher since the 12" x 12" pages will need to be shipped in a Medium Flat Rate Box.

Happy Birthday, Dad! #TGIFC105

I have followed the TGIF Challenges blog since its beginning, but I've never participated in any of the challenges. Until now, that is! It's a birthday/party theme this week for their second birthday, and it also happens to be my dad's birthday today, so the timing was perfect!

This was one of those cards that took me an entire afternoon to create. I know you are wondering how this simple card could take so long. Well, my dad likes those pink flamingo lawn ornaments, and I really wanted to incorporate flamingos into my card. I just couldn't make it work on the front, but inside there's a little surprise!
